...and please don't say "it doesn't matter because....bla, bla, bla", because all churches contradict all other churches in at least some ways, and they can't all be right.

The Mormon Church is God's favorite Christian church. It's his favorite because Mormons are required to think, participate in their own churches, have rules to follow, rituals to perform if you violate the rules so you can repent. and Mormons offer actual, realistic explanations.

Unlike the other mindless zombie churches that require nothing more than showing up on Sunday with a few dollars to give the blowhard spouting off about his opinions of what God "really said."

And, if Christianity isn't your cup of tea, Islam is his favorite.

For the same basic reasons.

I am an atheist and unofficial, self-appointed religion critic.

Mormons & Muslims get two thumbs up.

Modern day Judaism isn't a religion, it is a criminal enterprise. There are some "real Jews," but most people wouldn't qualify for membership, so they are unrated.

"your body is the temple of the Lord" If you research this scripture in The Bible, you will learn that "the church" is not a structure, it is in fact, a believer. The buildings in which believers gather together to worship are called churches, but it is the people within the structure that "are" the church. Which is God's favorite church? All those individual believers who have faith that Jesus is the Son of God, have a desire to live as Christ, and don't deny His Deity. God is not contained within a specific denomination. It's impossible. All denominations have variances on the Word of God which brought about that particular belief/denomination. There is no earthly denomination that has ever been able to portray the simplicity of the scriptures without tainting it somehow with their own reasoning's. The one true church....Jesus. What you seek is a revelation from God. Not from man. Ask, Seek, Knock.

well I believe in the Bible, in revelations it says the church of christ will be saved. so a group of people got together and started a church called "the church of christ" they think if you don't go to their church you go to hell.that however is not true it means followers of christ who have repented and are saved by his grace.
God does not have favorites in fact he loves satanists just as much as he loves his followers, same with churches
infact in the Bible it says you shouldn't divide the churches and that you should not quarrel over doctrine.
Gods plan for the Church was set in Acts.
and it says what a church should be and do and believe.
If a church is wrong about somthing that is really sad but it happens because of our sin natures to change the perfect plan of God to fit us, and to make ourselves more comfortable.
your question is the wrong question.
all churches are wrong in some ways but you can still be saved but wrong, as long as it's not against the basic plan (repent, being saved, becoming a new creature)
God will bless those who follow his word the closest.
it's about individuals not doctrines,

God stated his favorite churches in the beginning of the Book of Revelation. He describes why - and you'll see it is the conduct of the members that make the difference. this is applicable to everyone in any church, no matter what faith.

I don't think God has a "favorite" church. Jesus was Jewish, so that's pretty significant. I believe Catholicism has the largest piece of the "truth pie", but I really don't think He has a "favorite".

The Church that truly loves God, serves Him, and follows Christ's example of loving one's neighbor.

Any church that claims to be completely and perfectly right, is definitely wrong. There is no favorite- and it's ridiculous to even ask such a question.

None of the above. Ya think the creative force of our universe truly wants people to be brownnosing that force by sitting in pews saying "look at me!", worrying about their own souls or ya think thee would want those same people spending that time actually helping other humans who need it?

It's not a matter of being "right", doctrinally. G-d loves ALL people, whether they go to church or not. He can't help Himself.
He IS love, & it's His nature to love; erregardless of whether people are religious or not.
