I need some advice. I'm bi-sexual and in the past month, or so some of my freinds have told me that they are gay, or bi. They want to know what they should do and if it is a good idea to tell thier parents. I have no idea what to tell them because I struggled with my own descision for months.
Please help me help my freinds to come out!!

I ask this only because I recognize the contribution older gays have made through the sacrifices, beatings, arrests, taunts and hatred (the likes of which cannot be imagined by most of todays young gays) Would it kill younger gays to show respect, remember, if it wasn't for that old "***" in the bar, you might not be as free as you are today.

I would ask for serious responses only, please don't diss older gays here, they've paid enough for hate.

Thanks

Well I hope I won't offend anyone with this question but I'm curious... do you think that Hitler's hate for Jews had anything to do with the fact that they had killed Jesus?

It is certainly a fallacy: you may as well argue that, since all roads lead somewhere, therefore there must be some single place to which all roads lead---ROME, no doubt!

We know Aquinas was in error, he was long before Isaac Newton;
and Newton killed it off. Because Way one of Aquinas takes as it's premise the proposition that everything that moves is moved by something else, and is dependent upon the now discredited physics of Aristotle. So, what is Newtons first law? ........"every body continues in it's state of rest, or of uniform motion in a straight line, unless it is compelled to change that state by forces impressed upon it" From this vantage point we can see that there is no necessity or warant for the principle that "everything which moves is moved by something else"

And so we have had a look at Maimonides and this was just a side trip.

If we dont ask, how will we know what it is? And are we suposed to know what it is so we can do it? Please share your thoughts with me.
If we are afraid of him and Jesus how can we be pleasing to him? And if we really love him shouldn't we trust in his answers and how do you know it's the right thing?

I have read that Non Muslims are not permitted to practice their religion in Saudia Arabia and other Muslim countries. They cannot even say a simple prayer or have a Bible or Talmud or any holy book. Why is it then that Muslims all over the world (even in non-muslim lands) regard similar treatment against their practice of Islam to be "opression, persecution and a provocation" which justifies violence. In other words, "we should be able to practice our religion in your lands but you nonbelievers have no such rights in our holiest of lands. Please do not regard this sensitive question as a provocation. It's not. It's a sincere question.

So if I beleive that Jesus died on the cross for all of my sins. And I understand that marriage is very scarid. But if you are abused or if there has been adultry commited it is okay for divorce. The struggle that I am having is if I were to remarry that person would be commiting adultry, why? If we are happy with eachother and make eachother happy is that not enough for God to forgive and understand that the other person makes the spouse feel so special and treats her right. Is that not enough?

Opponents of same-sex marriage say that it ishould be banned because homosexuality is a sin. However, marriage confers secular benefits:

Why deny this to individuals because they are "commiting a sin?" We don't deny rights to adulterers or liars.
