I am interested in researching this type of supernatural things and I would like to start with this simple looking device. Are there any risks involved? Maybe the whole ouija board stories are just urban legends. Am I correct?

yes there are risks involved, it is like allowing a harness to be put around you like you would a dog....you are at one....but, who will you be at one with: not Jesus, not Buddha, not Allah or Mohammed....you will be on a leash and your master will be from the dark side...

Mary says " It's not the tool that opens the door, it's the focused intent of the mind. And it is not exactly wise to open doors that you can't close, nor control what might come through " then why even use a board if you have the potential to do that ? the only thing that comes through with a ouija board is subconscious stuff but that can be damn scary at times though the board IS only a board .. a game ... useless

Anyone can make an ouija board and it will work. The reason being is that you will be projecting your own powers into this board to work for you. Contrary to popular belief, Ouija boards are not evil and do not allow the spirits to "come through" it to this side. Granted the board is a "microphone" for the spirit world to communicate with this side of the veil but it's not a "transporter" so to speak for evil spirits. I haven't used a Ouija board in many years but am looking for a good pattern for making one.

I think it depends on if you really believe it'll work and if the place you are in has enough spiritual energy to make the board work. There are actually a lot of stories with the Ouija board that are frankly really scary. There was actually one published in a newspaper (local) that had a group of girls playing around with it and it eventually led on to suggesting that one of the girls would die. Two weeks later one was hit by a car when she was walking home since her car wouldn't start up. It depends on what you believe. Ghosts are real, there is a LOT of evidence to prove that... so an Ouija board could be.
As for risks... there aren't any... you might get a little freaked if it spells out something you don't want it to and it'll cost money, but other then that there aren't any risks.

The name Ouija is a combination of the French and the German words for "yes". Before I accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, I had dabbled with it. To this day I regret ever touching it. I will say no more about that...
The Ouija board is called an "entry". About as innocent as a door of a cage. Open the door, and you have made yourself vulnerable to what ever beast is waiting inside. You will start by asking it innocent questions that it can answer with great accuracy. This is to entice you to press on with more important questions. When you finally start asking regarding the after life, that is where the lies begin. It establishes trust, then mixes truth with politically correct lies, until you cannot confirm what is lie and what is truth. The Ouija board is spiritually dangerous entry designed as a harmless game.
If you want to do research on "the other side", I could suggest a much better way to do this. Do NOT venture into areas when you are ignorant of the consequences.

Ouija boards are very dangeruos since you have no idea what a person could call to this plain. some of the urban legends are partly correct if you really think about it. i for one think it is a way to talk to spirits and has been proven to work more times than none but it is a evil and unpredictable thing to use

Yes, you can actually communicate with spirits. But, take this in mind. The Ouija creates a portal where you may communicate with the astral. Now, those who you'll be able to contact are beings who did not find light, either because they were too attached to things or people in live, or because their vibrational rate is not too high. Understand by this: witchcrafters, murderers, thieves, so on and so forth. It also depends on your vibrational rate. You may contact someone on a higher level but, this would be only if that someone has a certain message to you or what may also happen is that you distract them from their after live duties, by invoking them..........Bottom line, this is not a simple game. This beings you may contact are in need for light.........they may want to steal yours.....think of that. May the Light guide you.

Actually I believe there is some truth to it, however, the spirits behind ouija boards are truly evil. I would advise staying away from it.

the ouija board is totally real...
i bet you never heared about what im goin to say..
cuz as christian you ppl dont know about in the other world as maybe a lil of u only do..
well... the idea of ouija is not about the board... its just about the letters and numbers..
you can write them on anything... and just by the thought of being all ready to meet the *demon of letters & numbers* he will get it right away and apper... cuz he never shows up to just anyone, he needs a peremition, n the funy thing about it that most ppl think they talk to the spirites of dead ppl.. which is wrong,, and demons and satan can show up in many images as they wish...
so its real... some ppl say prayers n stuff for protiction.. which works also.. weather u dont wanna get harmmed... cuz they might act not friendly sometimes... anyways... they dont get along with most ppl...
u wont find wut i said here anywhere on the web.. but im 100% honest about it...
remeber... spitirs never come back from the dead... think about it...
or if u read those online stories about ouija...
why do most ppl talk to thier dead family spirits???
like if they r there everytime lol.. .its silly... cuz u only talk to the devil whos way to smart to change into that person.. n tell them wutever they wanna know about.. as we know... ghosts, satan, demons, or any of those... can disapper and be at the same place u r in... watching u, hearing u, so they probably know everything about u, n when u die, n someone else call them, they will say everything they knew pretending its u... :P

ouija board is a little dangerous. my friend's aunt - (we're very very close) was very into that, and after some attempts at that board, she started having nightmares and my friends cousin began seeing a woman on the foot of her bed every night at 4. she researched on it and found it was the woman that lived there before they moved, she was murdered by her boyfriend..
honestly these things creep me out pretty badly..
but i guess all i can say to is that you should be careful on how you use it, and to pray before and after..but i should just say this: instead of startin out with that, start with tarot cards!! they're a lot more spirtual..you'd learn more about astrology and it'll open your mind up more about other things out there..
