If we dont ask, how will we know what it is? And are we suposed to know what it is so we can do it? Please share your thoughts with me.
If we are afraid of him and Jesus how can we be pleasing to him? And if we really love him shouldn't we trust in his answers and how do you know it's the right thing?

Asking questions (to whomever) is a fine thing.
We should all ask away!
But what if the answer is something we find difficult to swallow?
Will we accept or twist it around, to make it a bit more palatable?

I'm not exactly a Christian, so I'm not sure how helpful this will be, but here's how I see it.

God has the power to make anything he wants happen. However, if he stepped in and did everything for us there'd be no meaning in life or reason for us to exist. The point is for us to CHOOSE to do good things, knowing that we also have the ability to do bad things.

Therefore, everything that happens, even the bad stuff, is God's will because when he gave us free will he gave us the ability to do bad stuff as well as good stuff. When something bad happens to you, it's not because you deserve punishment or need to be tested or whatever, it's simply because whoever did bad stuff to you chose to do bad stuff instead of good stuff. It's just impossible for everyone in the world to be happy all the time, and if they were wouldn't this be heaven instead of life?

I think the point of us being here is to do as many things as we can to make the world better, even knowing that we probably won't have much success due to all the others who run around trying to make it worse. The point isn't to succeed. The point is to keep trying anyway. It may be frustrating, but just imagine how much worse the world would be if everyone gave up.

That is about five different HUGE questions. You can question the will of God. You can question what He is doing, but you cannot question His authority or validity to do so. The Biblical writers did all the time. To gain God's will for your life, immerse yourself in Scripture. Start with Proverbs or Psalms and the New Testament. Second, seek the advice of the Holy Spirit within. If you are saved He dwells in you. Third, seek godly counsel. Those who are on a "higher" spiritual level than you. Fourth, obey what God has told you through the scriptures and seek opportunities to serve Him. This is the will of God :)

My friend you are too anxious. to know the will of God relax and He will show you very plainly what it is.
If it is good and it is lovely think on these things, relax God is not a hard task master of his flock. If you see an activity and it is doing good works and all the works are benefiting people who were in need, this is a work of God. Go there and you are within the will of God to work in this activity.
Simple not complex at all.
Just live and let it be shown as all good things come from and are a glory to God.

God is inside of us and we are his ears, eyes and hands. We should look to ourselves for the answers we seek. Meditate ,look inside for the light of your truth, don't be a blind believer in what other people tell you. People are conditioned by their environment to believe all sorts of stuff, most of it baloney. Be a lion not a lamb, that is our nature. Look at your self and decide who you are and how you want to live. Live in the present moment and hurt no one, not even yourself. Forgive yourself and everyone else for anything they have ever done, you are a new person every day. You can be happy. There is no reason to be afraid. Whatever is going to happen will happen anyway, so accept what you have and be happy. Peace

Yes ask him. When doubting yourself open you bible and all the answers are there. He wants us to forgive and love and be happy with our life. If we are afraid of him its not from God. Don't let the other one win over the fear. Yes, we do go through problems in our life, He is always with us all the time. Call on him no matter what. Your answer may come though in his time.

I don't think it is really the questioning that is wrong but denouncing Him is. God gave man free will. Of course man will question. Acceptance is the key, but it does not have to be immediate and without question all of the time. There are many things that happen to us and our loved ones that we question WHY. We have to have faith that there is a better plan and a reason why all things happen.

Personally, I question everything. Especially if someone else is telling me "this is 100% truth". And then use fear tactics "your soul will be in hell for eternity unless you believe this". Well if it's that important that my soul may be lost for eternity, why would I just take the word of someone else that what they say is 100% (meanwhile telling me that ALL men are liars). I guess it's a matter of whether or not you are comfortable with blind faith.

You can ask God what his plan for your life is. You should never question God's answer. Even if you feel it's impossible, he will make a way for you. If you are living in the word, you will know the way, and you will be pleasing to him.

** Are we not to question the will of God?

it is like asking questions of your parents.... when done properly it is beneficial and healthy..... when done in pride, anger, disrespect then it is a problem.

God knows your heart and sees beyond ones behavior and words. those who love Him will seek Him. To them the door shall be opened. But if you think God is an angry father waiting to spank you then you will never draw close to HIM. then it is very hard to know HIM from a distance.
