You could look at this with regard to externalism ie. due to social and economic reasons!

That depends...the end of your world will be when you die. The end of the world for humans will be when we make Earth unable to sustain human life. This really depends on how we develop nuclear warfare, how quickly we deplete our natural resources, etc. The end of the Earth will be when some sort of natural disaster occurs, like the sun exploding or whatever (I'm not a scientist or anything).

What exactly do you mean by the end of the world? The end of people or the end of Earth? I believe that people will wipe themselves out before the Earth reaches its past due date.

From a Christian POV...which is mine, when God decides the world should end...we will know in some way. By reading the Left Behind Series, it says it all...and Revelation in the Bible...but no one knows for sure...only God knows.
