I can at least give documentation that God does exits.
Now take the Bible. It was written many hundreds of years apart.
The book of Job. this was written hundreds of years before Christ.
In Job, God explains to Job how the behemoth, or, dinosaurs lived. At the time of Job, the dinosaurs were dead millions of years. But God describes how the dinosaurs lived. Man can describe what the bones of dinosaurs look like, but, not how they live.
Example 2.
The book of Psalm was also written around the time of King David. The book of Psalm describes the Crucifixion of Jesus.
Even how the roman soldiers would be gambling for his clothes.

Christians at least have a bases for believing.

Sorry, but no one can prove a negative entity...you cannot prove something doesn't exist, only that something Exists. Using your logic, prove that a god DOES exist...you cannot do that either, for GOD falls under Faith, and by its nature, Faith is just that...a belief in something that cannot be proved. So what is the point of this question...it really is moot, inane, and cannot be answered on either side. What I don't understand is why there are sides on this issue...why does it matter to one side about the other?????

im not exactly an athiest by nature im actually wiccan but there is no gods in wicca but i do have an something to say----- god almighty is an invisible man(well not actually a man but a creature or spirit...however you want to see it as) and there are stories about him and his influence on humanity and his son who is actually him in human form who was supposedly perfect to some forms of christianity but one big problem with that statement if he was human he would made mistakes no matter who he really was..he was human..deal with it.....and there may be proof that jesus existed but he was a mortal man and historians never stated if they actually could prove he died on a cross in nazareth...and archeologists have found many tombs that date back to that era and they believe they found the body of jesus thus proving he was only man and the bible lied for even if he was who he claimed he was there would of had to been some proof of his existance other than writtin word...if you think about it you can never really trust anything about our past that was writtin because man is succeptable to many thoughts and ideas and could have easily made up the stories in the bible and they used real people from the time as a way of making it seem true...its like my theory that if i were to place myself on a cross and have a decent gathering following me first and then i die and say it was nessasary for mankind then 2000 years later there would be a belief system about it. plus if you think about it if you do believe in god and the bible then you are a inbreeder because no matter how long ago "adam and eve" existed they would still be everyones great great...etc. well you get the idea.....so yeah thats what i think and i have more to say but not enough space.

Can you prove to me that you are not a pedophile, murderer or rapist? Don't wimp out. Document every second of your life to show me that you aren't.

Or, you could do the intelligent thing and admit you can't prove your "god". That doesn't prevent you from believing it, it just prevents you from making false claims of absolute rightness.

You christians try to shift the burden of proof from yourselves because you know you can't prove your claims with evidence. In any argument, the burden of proof lies with the person making the claim: in this case, that's you who claims that a "god" exists.

Why is it up to an Atheist to disprove what you should have 100% infallible proof for? How about you provide us proof of your God? I am 100% certain you have no proof either...that falls on your shoulders to provide any burden of proof considering you the Xians are the ones suggesting he does exist!

Can you prove Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny exists?

You cannot prove that supernatural things are true or untrue. Proof is a function of the physical and logical world. As soon as you allow the supernatural as a possibility, the constraints that a proof needs to function are destroyed. It is the nature of the supernatural to be unprovable.

Asking someone to disprove the absurd? All right, I admit it. I cannot prove that a magical sky wizard didn't create the entire universe. Can you prove that one did?

Please accept my well wishes for a long life. When you die, you'll have my evidence. Until then, feel free to follow the myth of your choosing.

Of course, when you're lying in a grave rotting, you won't be able to regret the things you never did in life, and won't be able to process the information anyway, so your question is moot.

I cannot. That is the sheer honesty from my heart. I only have my own personal proof that convinced ONE person---me.

I have very grave doubts it will convince you, let alone anyone else. Have. A. Good. Day.
