There has been an increasing trend of "end of times" in our culture through books, television, movies, etc.. Is this a positive force towards individuals finding spirituality or is this corrosive to moving forward with things?

I lost my faith recently, is there any way i can restore it?

Perhaps I should of rephrased my question. It seems when I was younger I always used to make an active effort to try to talk to God and for him to be a part of life.
Recently (around the age of 19 I’m 25 now) I feel that I have lost my faith.
Has anyone out there experienced this before, and if so, what did you do to help restore your faith?

What's the funniest thing(s) you remember from your carefree school days? Or is there a particular classmate that will always stay in your mind? I just had a flashback of a girl who used to be in my class and she used to straigten her hair with an iron (not the heated ones us girlies use now, I mean a proper domestic iron!)

There was also a lad who used to wear one flourescent pink sock and one flourescent yellow sock.

Funny how these silly things stay with us!

would that mean there was a gay gene? if so, would that suggest that this gene was passed on through the family gene pool? If so, would that mean that there would be several people in the person's family within the last few generations that were gay? If the family didn't have several gay family members, how can one say it's genetic?

Don't get me wrong, i'm not homophobic, but I just want to clarify my understanding of genetics. When I think of genetics, I think of features or something else that is common among a family line such as facial features, etc. So if there is in fact a gay gene, which would be the case if a person was born gay, where are all the gay relatives?

OK, so I've seen that the biblegod has done some pretty mean things, thanks to seeing another question asked here which had this link which shows all the cruel and violent things in the king james bible:

The basic scenario I am presenting now is this:

Hitler is seen to be one of, if not THE most evil person. mainly this is because he inflicted on millions of people horrible suffering in an extremely thought out and calculated plan, in an attempt to realize his selfish vision of a pure race.

The bible god is thought to be all-knowing and all-powerful who decides he wants some beings to worship him, so he creates this world with the vast amount of his children, having no knowledge of him until recent times, and he knows full well that the vast majority of his children will burn for eternity, but he continues with his plan just to have some beings that worship him.

in the gosples... Jesus claimed to be God, because he said who ever had seen him had seen the Father who sent him--making him equal to God. Who is equal to God, but God himself?
Jesus was also Man, He prayed,suffured, etc. He lived as God intended Man to live by: loving, humble, etc. He humbled himself when he said that the father is greater than him.
If you believe the Bible, then Jesus is God, and Man.
