OMG, I think the world would be a better place if everyone had the manner they use to have back in the day. I love a gentleman. Courteous is not old fashioned, just not practiced or taught to the younger genereations. I appreciate it very much when I encounter polite people because any more they are a dying breed. I am not old fashioned I was just raised to have manner, be courteous and respectful of others.

Good manners are never out of style.

I definitely care if someone is polite. There is a HUGE difference between being polite and simply not being rude. If more people followed decent manners and were polite, the world would be a better place.

It is very cool to be nice; there is no man better than a gentleman, and I wish people would be more polite to everyone. Politeness breeds more politeness. Cheers!

I guess it's cool to be nice. I'm the type of guy who would hold a door open on my way out if I see someone approaching my way.

One day while I was on my way to the post office, I held the door open for this old lady and others on their way inside. Once it was my turn to walk in, I was devastated to see the long line. On my way to the back of the line, the old lady waved at me and asked me to cut in front of her. She said, "I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you."

People like her are rare. I would say that people think about themselves at least 95% of the time. This old lady, though, is definitely an exception.

Yes it's cool to be nice! But there is a line between nice and a pushover. Be sure you still act like a man.

It is very cool to be nice! Who really wants to be friends with someone who is mean or rude to you? I care if you are nice or not and I was taught that manners matter!

We need more men that believe in being old fashioned. Sometimes women are hesitant around men that are polite because you don't see that in a man anymore. We need more gentlemen in this world.

I think it’s cool to be nice, but just don’t waste your niceness on the wrong crowd. Some people are just way to f*cking cool to be bothered with kindness. The phrase “I wouldn’t cross the street to pizz in your mouth if your teeth were on fire” applies to this crowd. Peace…

Never feel bad about being nice. Don't just be nice to get approval, though...because there are people out there who like to hurt people who are nice. Be nice, because it makes you feel good ....and don't blame yourself when someone is mean...those people have issues.

Yes. Look at it this way. Do you like it when others are nice to you? If the answer is yes, you're in the majority.
