the word "dinosaur" came about in 1841.
The Book of Job describes animals not existing anymore: "Tanniyn", "behemoth", and "Leviathan"
Job 40:15-24 describes "Behemoth":
it eats grass like an ox...it's tail hangs like a cedar (like a tree!!)... His bones are like beams of bronze and bars of iron...(meaning huge and powerful). The bible writers described huge animals aka "dinosaurs". 1000s of years before their discovery!!! I'm just saying to study the Bible more before if you want to criticize it.

ive been challenged as a Christian that the only reason i dismiss evolution is because i believe the bible to be true and wont examine the evidence of evolution.. well here i am. is there a missing link that connects humans back to a common ancestor to monkeys ?

when i studied evolution in school the missing links were "Lucy" and "Neanderthal man" and others that were exposed as absurd and just plain lies.. why should i take the next missing link seriously ? please show me the missing link that gives you faith in the fossil record.. thanks

I was at a party this weekend and for some reason this question came up. The question is, do you think that people are born gay or does society and the way you are raised play a roll in what you decide for sexual preference? This caused many arguments and many people feel very strong about their answer, which ever one it may be. I believe that you are born gay and it's nothing that you can decide. I myself am not gay but I am interested in what someone who is thinks of this question.

If there are a limited number of people who will go heaven, Then do you consider it fair for God to create so many others when it was predestined that they were not heaven to be bound? Does this totaly negate free will? And how is it a huge loss to satan when he will eventually get the majority of the people? No offence intended, just looking for quality answers.

I decided that having that piercing just doesnt fit my character anymore. I was 18 when I got it and now it just seems to be kind of dumb. It works for some people, but I'm Christian and I'll be a camp counselor this summer and I want to be a good role model. I want to avoid chipped teeth and just the whole negative guise that can accompany having a toungue ring. Any thoughts?

Nowadays, people will take one look at someone that's not "normal" and start judging them. For obese people, the general stereotypes are that obese people are incompetent and they only care about food. Even on television, obese people are made the subject of many jokes and obese/overweight characters are not taken seriously with few exceptions.

Some countries allow anulment of marriage but not on divorce. We know that the policy of the state on divorce/anulment was greatly influnced by the church. Spiritually speaking, what is the difference between this two?

Many of you know me for my acerbic, sardonic diatribes upon almost everyone and everything on this site. To you I offer the following olive branch.

Even the greatest General when faced with proof that his brilliant battle tactics are failing and his charges are suffering causalities from his strategy, is willing to entertain suggestions to alter his battle plans. Thus it is in the spiritual arena. I, self appointed Four Star General michael s, have for far too long pursued a battle plan of intolerance, vicious name calling, voracious caustic attacks on my enemies: whomever I thought was not measuring up to MY high standards of YHVH’s righteousness. I was wrong to do to so. Know that I was not following orders from High Command, but was attempting to wage solo war on all ‘infidels’ in my own strength, power and all the mental ammunition I could muster. For obvious reasons, my plot to overthrow the kingdom of darkness failed and it is time to render assistance to all
