Bukhari says Prophet Muhammad (SAW) will have 12 successors (successor means one after the other), which only the Shia school of thought has. In genesis in the Bible God says from the seed of Ishmael I will create a great nation w/ 12 princes, Shia. Hadith-e Kisa, the Event of Ghadir, and a million other historical facts in non-Shia texts.

Well if memory serves me correct there are supposed to be 72 sects not 73. That aside i don't think there is a way of choosing the "real" sect cause all of them claim and support their claims that they are the "real" sect. I guess only Allah(swt) knows truly and we can only ask Him after death so i gess you just have to wait to find out

...sect ...which is real? The word sect can be an abbreviation for the word section....so just partly of something else...I guess you will have to wait for 2000 years or more and see which one of those 73 sects or more/less will survive.....and that one could eventually be the "real" one.
