I believe in the possibility of such an animal existing. There have been reports of similar animals in North America (San Francisco and Lake Champlain).

What a bunch of hooey... People want to believe in things, but there is clear evidence there is no Loch Ness Monster. They took sonar pictures of the entire lake, and nothing of any size turned up.

The lake has hundreds of visitors every day carrying every form of camera, radar, sonar, etc. and hundreds of people have sought to prove its existance, and still no hard evidence that it exists. Want to know why?

Because it can't doesn't exsit. Real scientists have determined that due to the size of the lake and the fish population in the lake, no fish larger than a 4 or 5 foot fish could sustain itself in the lake. Too few feeder fish to live on.

The current popular theory is Lock ness is an male eel that was born without its sex organ, and those types of eels are known to grow very large (about 5 or 6 feet). This is the theory. Folks see a big eel and they think they see a giant creature.

But, it certainly is a local industry now, since plenty of people want to believe it exists, and be the special person who sees, maybe even photographs the creature.

I've never actually seen it (I've never even been to Scotland) but, I do believe that it's possible the Loch Ness Monster might exist.

I beleive it exists. Too many credible witnesses over a 1000 years to be a hoax

I think it is a definite possibility. Not so long ago, a fish was found off the coast of Africa that was thought to be extinct 65 million years ago. And they are always finding new species of animals. I don't think we are anywhere close to discovering all the mysteries of our planet.

i think it, or at least remains such as droppings, food particles, etc, would have been found by now, after all, there have been studies on the Loch for the past 40 years or more and nothing has been found yet

I think there's something down there... nature holds many many secrets, especially since they just found never-before seen scorpions/crustaceans in Israel in a cave. ANything's possible.
