the word "dinosaur" came about in 1841.
The Book of Job describes animals not existing anymore: "Tanniyn", "behemoth", and "Leviathan"
Job 40:15-24 describes "Behemoth":
it eats grass like an ox...it's tail hangs like a cedar (like a tree!!)... His bones are like beams of bronze and bars of iron...(meaning huge and powerful). The bible writers described huge animals aka "dinosaurs". 1000s of years before their discovery!!! I'm just saying to study the Bible more before if you want to criticize it.

Think of what Christ said about Lucifer, beware the earth and all who live there because Satan was cast down to earth faster than a bolt of lightening. Then consider this if Lucifer was almost as powerful as God when he revolted... then he could have made the Dinosaurs, for we have no idea how long he was cast down here and why not any other planet?

My hubby and I love to think about the dinosaures. We are curious if they were killed in the great flood...or maybe the people of the Bible had problems with them, we just dont know...it is so facinating. Thanks for writing about it...People should turn to the Bible more for questions they have about history. For instance, I cant remember the exact verse, but it says that the world is round in shape. So much for Christopher Columbus...lol. He should have read the Bible, he wouldnt be so famous, its right there for everyone to know.
Interesting stuff, Kayla

I don't want to criticise your belief - this is my opinion.
Firstly, there is no evidence that humans and dinosuars co-existed. I know many people believe that they Bible refers to them, but where is the solid, physical evidence?
Secondly, every good author embellishes their writing somewhat. Is it not possible that the animals you describe were maybe a little bit exagerrated?
For many of us, physical evidence will always provide more proof than what it says in the Bible.

dinosaur is a Greek or Latin word that means terrible lizard. Those things describes in the bible are not terrible lizards, but hallucinations.
