Many of you know me for my acerbic, sardonic diatribes upon almost everyone and everything on this site. To you I offer the following olive branch.

Even the greatest General when faced with proof that his brilliant battle tactics are failing and his charges are suffering causalities from his strategy, is willing to entertain suggestions to alter his battle plans. Thus it is in the spiritual arena. I, self appointed Four Star General michael s, have for far too long pursued a battle plan of intolerance, vicious name calling, voracious caustic attacks on my enemies: whomever I thought was not measuring up to MY high standards of YHVH’s righteousness. I was wrong to do to so. Know that I was not following orders from High Command, but was attempting to wage solo war on all ‘infidels’ in my own strength, power and all the mental ammunition I could muster. For obvious reasons, my plot to overthrow the kingdom of darkness failed and it is time to render assistance to all

those I have left bloodied upon the battlefield of my diatribes. To all those I labeled ‘deceived’, ‘carnal’, ‘apostate,’
‘luke-warm,’ Christians, ‘idolatrous’, Catholics, ‘wicked’ Wiccans, ‘murderous’ Muslims ‘jerky’ Jehovah Witnesses, Crazed Charismaniacs, and anyone else I offended by my loud mouth, brash words and overzealous, insensitive heart I offer my humble, sincere apologies. Not that I now agree in any part or condone in any way, your beliefs, lifestyles, doctrines or ever will, but in fear of inflicting greater spiritual wounds and further alienating you and distancing you from the hope and truth that I know lies in YHVH, I retreat and lay down my noxious pen. If you feel that I go beyond the boundaries of good manners in my pursuit of sharing what I feel is the truth with you or others on this board, please contact me. I no longer wish my answers to be shunned or cause people to cringe when they see the name Michael s as the respondent

to a fair question, but to know that the answer they receive, even if disagreed with, will be gentle, truthful and from the heart, and hopefully, be representative of the nature of the One I serve. For my true adversaries who abide in the dark realms of the spiritual heavenlies, I do not concede victory, nor am I backing away from the conflict, but choose rather to join the ranks of those in humble submission and obedience to their King.

As for any restitution; if my humble apologies are not sufficient, know that even if I were to offer a single penny for every insult, rude and offensive remark that I have made in my postings, it would far exceed my meager assets and cause you no permanent gratification; instead I will do that to which I was called to do from the beginning, but was loathe to do, due to my inexperience and ineptitude, pray for you. In Him, Buck Private MichaelS

P.S. I would call upon others on this site to join forces with me, but I quickly forgot: I’m no longer a 4 star General, but a Private now. Let them get their marching orders from the Commander in Chief themselves. (Not GW) I can only hope they will. Finally, I have delusions that Yahoo Answers Religion and Spirituality Section will ever become a bastion of truth or a forum exclusively for enlightened, civil, intelligent seekers of the truth; it is, after all, what it is and will remain so. Thanks for listening. No answer required.

Whoops, add the word NO to the 3rd to last sentence regarding having delusions of Yahoo Answers being a bastion of truth, Freudian slip apparently. As to the charge of ego-maniacal delusions of grandeur,
I plead Nolo Contendere. To those who would rather I just go away, I ,too, hope your prayers are answered soon. Yahusha is coming back for His bride, and this small attempt at cleaning my wedding garment and sweeping my spiritual house is offered to Him, as well. May YHVH bless His people. (and in the spirit of my new found Christian charity, you too)!

Jehovah's Witnesses work to imitate the fine qualities of their great God.

(Psalm 86:5) For you, O Jehovah, are good and ready to forgive

Frankly, Jehovah's Witnesses are accustomed to insults. Really, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(Luke 6:22) “Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.

(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

It seems signficant that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones best known for their worldwide preaching work. Yet Jesus commanded that ALL who would call themselves "Christian" perform this public work:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And, look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”

I Accept Your Apologies!

Hey Michael...no worries, you didn't offend me although I admit I thought you made assumptions. But Hallelujah and Amen!!Nothing excites me more than witnessing a brother in Christ removing the dirty garments of ego so that he is fit to wear the garment of the Bride of Christ. Thank you for your commitment to righteousness -- as long as that's where your sight is set, then everything unrighteous in you will fall away. And it is! Praise to God!

Begin your redemption by sending a cheque of $10000 to my house xD Then I'll consider your apology.

Michael,

This site has the potential to bring out the best and the worst in all of us. 19 out of 20 questions are disgusting and loathsome. It is easy to fall in the trap of inciting others when most questions seem baited just for that reason.

I wish you the best in your endeavor to find a balance between witnessing for God and being tolerant to others. Maybe "The Serenity Prayer" could be your guide.

Apology accepted, but I was never offended by you.

Who are you? I'm somewhat impressed by your evident facility with the language, but I never heard of you. I am terribly sorry. Perhaps you could insult me, so I could see what kind of "brilliant battle tactics" you employ, how vicious your name-calling, how voracious (nice alliteration but poor word choice) your caustic attacks, can be?
I would really like to forgive you, but you describe yourself as a literary Attila, and so it may not be appropriate to issue a blanket amnesty.
Thank you.

You have never offended me that I remember. In fact, I don't really recall having seen you before though I probably have. Anyway... have a good one.
