OK, so I've seen that the biblegod has done some pretty mean things, thanks to seeing another question asked here which had this link which shows all the cruel and violent things in the king james bible:
http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/cruelty/long.html

The basic scenario I am presenting now is this:

Hitler is seen to be one of, if not THE most evil person. mainly this is because he inflicted on millions of people horrible suffering in an extremely thought out and calculated plan, in an attempt to realize his selfish vision of a pure race.

The bible god is thought to be all-knowing and all-powerful who decides he wants some beings to worship him, so he creates this world with the vast amount of his children, having no knowledge of him until recent times, and he knows full well that the vast majority of his children will burn for eternity, but he continues with his plan just to have some beings that worship him.

Tough to dignify an answer to such a twisted view of creation. But the simple answer is this. Evidence of God is all around us. We are born with this innate knowledge. Man chooses to separate himself from God, and thus brings about his own punishment, which is essentially his own self chosen isolation. Light bulbs don't work without a power source. We are nothing without the loving God who made us as the pinnacle of his creation. For a better understanding of this, try reading some C.S. Lewis. Try "Mere Christianity", or if you want something deeper go with "The Great Divorce" or "Pilgrim's Regress." Lewis was an atheist until his conversion, helped along with love from his good friend J.R.R. Tolkien, a very faithful man his entire life. Tolkien understood historical eveil very well, and the Lord of the Rings is a good reflection of mankind's struggle today both for and against evil. God wasn't the one who created the rift between earth and the firmament of heaven, but He has given us a path to restore that original relationship through Christ Jesus. God didn't cause The Enemy to become prideful and rebellious, but he gave both angels and humans free will. Lucifer, now Satan, chose poorly. Be careful how you choose, because actions have consequences, and they are self chosen. May God bless you richly.

Actually the Bible says that Paul is the chief sinner, and which Paul claims himself. But God chose such a man to be a leader for Christ and the church, and to write much of the New Testament. That should tell us a lot about God. Satan firsts lie in Eden failed. He was defeated by Christ. But now Satans trying to win back what he lost, but he will fail again,as any effort of his, is defeated by the Blood of Christ. Apparrently God has blinded Satan to this fact, because he thinks he is winning. Satan is very good at lying. He has most of mankind believing his biggest lie. That God has an evil plan to punish and detroy most of His children for eternity, with cruelties, because of disobedience. He has also fooled mankind in that the Savior was not victorious. And he was victorious! Satan has worked through man for over 2000 years to change the truth for a lie. Please go to www.bible-truths.com to learn the truth.

Here is how it worked: God created Man and Woman and gave them a home to live in. They had EVERYTHING in the World and could do WHATEVER they wanted. They had just one simple rule: don't eat from this tree. Satan tempted them, and they both fell. Because they broke God's law, they were banished and therefore had to pay for the consequinces of sin.

Now when the world multiplied to it's current state of 3.5 billion people, EVERY SINGLE one of them has broken God's command in some way shape or form. And because they broke God's law, they are now condemned to die.

So, I wouldn't say God is more evil than Hitler because mankind had the chance to follow God's commandments, and refused. Because of that, everyone now has to die. But because God sent Jesus to die for the sins of mankind, people are now saved by grace. They still have to die, but don't have to spend eternity in Hell.

I'm going to take a bit of a roundabout way of getting to your answer, but there is a reason. Read and you'll see. So first of all, there is a lot of stuff that people usually think about when they think about/contemplate God. One of them is mercy. If God really is merciful, then how would He explain only letting a comparative few of his children know about him and his designs? That seems like a contradiction. Consider this instead: the bible shows that God has ALWAYS tried to get his children to follow him (i.e. given people of all ages a chance to come to know Him and choose Him above any and all others) by sending prophets (hence the role of people like Abraham, Noah, Moses, Christ etc.). That makes much more sense than to say that He's only now, or fairly recently, decided to educate people about him. Now here's the more direct answer to your question: We are not just some beings, we are His children, who He loves very much. He created this earth to give us the opportunity to prove to ourselves and to him that, given the choice, we would choose Him and keep His commandments instead of choosing the latest passing attraction. To choose for ourselves. Hitler, in contrast, was in the practice of depriving people of choice, or of the ability and freedom to choose. Hitler used his influence to ruin. God has tried through the history of the whole world to use his influence to keep us from ruining ourselves by destroying the freedom of others to choose. And as concerns the apparent discrepancy between this supposedly merciful God and the god of the Old Testament that sent all sorts of hellfire and damnation to people, this is my answer: God sends us what we as His children need (punishment, blessings, luck, etc.) in order to remember him and choose him instead of the latest passing attraction. No one can really claim that we as people don't need to be constantly reminded that God exists; we forget that sometimes even on the same day that we have seen that He has really helped us out. And so, in conclusion to this probably a bit lengthy answer: If you really understand God, and if you really believe that he is a loving Father of our souls that is concerned for our happiness today in our lives, then the idea that God is anything at all like Hitler or anyone like him in character suddenly doesn't hold water. If you want to believe that God is an all powerful version of Hitler with us in His crushing and destroying grasp, then of course you can probably find some sense in the idea. You have that choice. But unlike we for ourselves, God only does what is best for us.

I find it very hard to believe that someone all knowing and as loving as the god from the bible is supposed to be, would make the human race as diversified as it is just to punish us for what makes us so special in the first place. Seems like a lot of crap made up by a bunch of hipocritical, narrow minded men to me.

Yeah, i’d say hitler was a close second though. He was very much inspired to do what he did because of god in a way, but of course he is only human so he’s limited to what he can do.

God is not evil, God is perfect.
Satan was evil and creates evil.
You can only go to heaven if you are free from sin and the only way is to believe in Jesus Christ who died for your sins, so that you would become clean.
God created everything we will ever need, God sent Jesus so we would know we don't have to burn in hell. God tells you listen, God helps you when you fail, and tells you get back up because he will always be there. God loves you more than anything and anyone. If God did not love us, Satan could pick us up and do anything he wanted to do, and believe me, you don't want satan in control of you, now that is pure evil !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOD IS OUR PROTECTOR FROM EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are into a subject that you know nothing about. Learn about God and you will see that He is just and loving but also expects obedience. If this question indicates how you see God I feel sorry for you.

Man has interpreted the bible for his own benefit. This is why there is so much fuss over the bible. When they stop this practice, maybe we will be able to begin to see the light!
