shame poor things had polio so they went blind. this farmers wife she was helping them or at least she thought she was. you see her hubby had leprosy and he caught the mice in the barn stealing his grain. naturally when you find a mouse you pick it up tail first. so they were infected and cried so hard, you know, it was like as if having polio was not a curse enough now we have leprosy! so their request was please help cut off our tails for us and she did. and you know why they say have you ever seen such a funny sight as three blind mice?

And did the statute of limitations start when the clock struck one! Oh, by the way, the mice might be considered legally in residence at the time the farmer's wife tried to evict them. They may have acquired squatter's rights if they had been in residence long enough. I'd advise the mice and the wife to seek legal counsel. The clock manufacturer may have some liability exposure, as well. Where's Judge Wapner when you need him?

The mice were definitely claiming to be blind, and getting a monthly check for their disability. The investigator investigating their case was on to them, so the mice hired her for the job.She figured it might get her noticed if she were mentioned in a song. That damn farmer husband of hers was a real wacko! He preferred the company of one of his sheep rather than her. So she thought that the plan the mice came up with, them getting more disability, and her getting noticed wasn't too bad........GREEDY MICE, And lonely farmers wives!...imagine that. Have a nice day!

They should have claimed disability.. all they wanted was some food.. the farmer's wife should have been prosecuted for harassment!
