Please tell them its not hygenic and bad manners.And disgusting too.They spit in the street,they spit when people passing,right at your feet,they spit,here there and everywhere.Could they at least spit into a tissue,oh no.Could they go aside and do it .oh no.but they have no shame.Some of them even work in restaurants and spit where they cooking the food you eat.Beware. the spitters!!!

I see this phrase used so often. Please, tell me what one is. And be as specific as possible, please. Answering such questions as "Would a true Christian kill another?" and "Would a true Christian go to church?" would be EXTREMELY helpful and benefitial for all on this forum.

After all, I'm just a 16 year old Pagan searching to see what a True Christian is, having heard the term used so often.

I wait tables at a very fine dining establishment. I love waiting tables and dealing with the public. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem regarding guests. I went to do a first round at my table last night, and the 2 men totally ignored me and I stood there like a fool waiting for them to acknowledge me. After about 15 seconds of me just standing there, I began to walk off. One of the men said, "where are you going?" my reply was, well, sir, I'm going off to another table because I have more tables than the one your at..... He was cool about it, but why do people think we are only there for that 1 table...don't they understand, we are at work!! We don't have all day to wait to be acknowledged, and why do they think they are better than us? We all put our pants on 1 leg at a time, and we all wipe our @sses the same way!! What do you do in the situation where you are being totally ignored and telling guets about daily specials, when they won't even look at you?

Does it seem like all Memorial Day and Labor Day have become is the opening and closing three day weekends for summer here in America? Has the Fourth of July become little more than the time when most people take a week long vacation? Why does it seem like Veteran's Day almost goes completely unnoticed by most people?

Have holidays become little more than just days off to most people?

i hate when people refute god's existence. These people believe that they are random mistakes. How then can you be sure that you can reason adequately with a brain that is a mistake? You have to remember that we have limited understanding, so don't try to explain God's essence with pitiful human logic.

I am a lesbian, and have been all my life. I tried to be straight-for parents sake, other friends who really weren't my friends, etc, etc, etc-to no avail. I've dated, gotten engaged, been pregnant, all to realize it just doesn't work for me. I can't help who I am, and that's not what I'm asking. My question is why is it that so many men (not all, it isn't all, but a vast majority) tend to ask me "can they taste the rainbow?" or tell me I haven't had sex with a real man yet that's why I like women, or various other moronic comments like that. Or some women who come at me and feel the need to tell that the only reason I'm gay is because I'm ugly and can't get a man, or I'm bitter, blah, blah, blah. None of this is the case at all.
I don't claim to know anyone else and their reasons for doing anything, why do so many people claim to know mine and judge me?

If the government imposed a steep fine, not a crime, I would quit smoking. It's better than paying these outrageous cigarette taxes in New York City. A pack in some stores sell for about $7.00. Just make it illegal and folks will have to quit smoking. Why haven't they tried this yet?

It's a Douglas Adams story. The Grebulons were sent off on an incredibly long journey for an incredibly important mission. Many say that part of the reason why being gay is a sin is because God intended man and woman to be together and procreate.So if man and woman are together and don't procreate for whatever reason are they sinning against God's intent?
