ive been going thru a really tough time. I don't have a job (I tried filling out 20 apps, and calling back, and i've heard all kinds of crap. I'm qualfiel, and have an open schedule) I have to pay for school, because I do not have financial aid, I an not eligable for fina. aid, My mom always complains about crap, I lost a good friend, (tried calling her back but she didn't call me back, screw her anyhow). I qwas wonderinf though, what the h e ll does it take for someone to call you back for a frickin cashier job? the ony job i ay have is a $7.00 hostess job.. Thats a lot of stress, and I really need more than that an hour. So are all of there f u c k e d up things hapening at once bacause something positive is going to come out of it in the end? (not like 30 years from now) I feel so depressed and useless, because my mom was not getting work, and I couldnt help, and she's blaming me for a lot of thing i can't change. How do I keep strong? (Already Read the bible, and pray.. )

Non-Believers in this forum have criticized Christians for being hypocrites. Hypocrisy is a lack of integrity between belief and behavior and is usually counted as a sin by Christians and a fault by most others.
But if true Christians really live according to god’s example as shown in the bible, isn’t hypocrisy a good thing? The best Christian people I know believe the bible but unconsciously try not to live according to god’s example.
People who actually live in the way the bible suggests often find themselves in very big trouble with the legal system, and as an example of this, I’ve included a link to a recent attempt of a true Christian who followed god’s biblical example to the letter.

I told GOD (Jesus Christ) that I needed forgiveness for my sins (all kinds of sins) and to please save me.please......However,I cant say that I always refrained form acting out on these urges.I just want to know that I'm saved...for sure.I know it's wrong.I can try very hard to stay away from such desires.I feel bad that I am afflicted with such desires.Most people don't have these feelings .Help????

do you think it is logical to think that the life on earth and especially humans in their complexity (over one billion amino acids in a specific order) could build themselves with no divine guidance?
Suppose that I put the springs and gears of a watch in a bag and shook it for billions of years is it rational that I would eventually get a watch perfectly assembled with the exact time out of pure luck?

For Christians:
1. If the pope sold all the gold in the vatican he could feed a 3rd world country for a year. Wouldn't that be the christian thing to do?

2. The bible says: When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)
Leviticus 18:22: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind, is. Not talking about laws of men why should 1 be ignored and not the the 2nd one.

Hinduis: I've heard the cow is sacred because it gives milk, if so then why not a goat or any female animal that gives milk?

Muslims: I've never read the Quran but does it really say "death to the infidels"? If so why?

I'm not religious but these are all questions I have wondered about. Please answer if you know the answer to the question. None of these questions are meant insult people. They are all honest questions.

I am convinced that Jesus does not like gays and Jesus does not like abortion. What would Jesus do?

This solution doesn't discriminate against gays, which would be unAmerikan and it pleases Jesus since gays wont get married.

Since abortion is murder, and Jesus wouldn't let Mary Magdaline get an abortion, we must ban all abortion. In order to do this, we must ban all heterosexual sexual activity. It might lead to an unwanted pregnancy, and that might lead to an abortion, and thats murder and wrong.

Where in the bible does it say not to do witchcraft and stuff like that? Does it say what is considered "evil" about it? How is satan involved if wiccans, etc. have nothing to do with demons or satan in their practices? I always wondered.
