For example, in Engish a cat says "meow", a dog says "woof", a cow says "moo"...I remember that in Spanish a cat says "miau" and a dog says "guau". Other examples of animal onomatopoeia in other languages?

Usually I see that it is Christians who stands up front and denounces the homosexual lifestyle but I am curious to know if there are other religions that practices the same principles as christians do when it comes to homosexuality.

An answer to someone else's question gives me one of my own. Whatever your view of how we came to be, we are here and possess intelligence and reason and free will. Wouldn't all the injustice in the world be on us?

I have been with my boyfriend now for a little over five months. A lot of things have changed in our lives since then, but we're still together. At first, everything was great with us. We spent a lot of time together and things always seemed peachy. But then, we began to fight...a lot. We fought constantly. Eventually, we always got over it, and things were wonderful with us again...but then, of course, we'd fight. We both love each other very, very much, yet we are very different people. He is extremely independent ''mr. 'I'll do it myself' man'', and he has been conplaining about being smothered by me. I admit, I have the tendency to be a bit clingy, but I enjoy doing things with him. Recently, our fights have been becoming more frequent. I hate it...it sucks...I want them to stop!!! We just had another huge fight this morning, and now he won't talk to me...I want to resolve this...what should I do?! If you want more detail, let me know. Please help! I love himso much!

I say there is no sin.

We were married in Alabama and divorced in Arkansas.

Now, by "Moral", standards, are we still brother and sister?

Do we have to deny eachother at family reunions?

IF..She is right and it is a sin, can she be forgiven?

I've been reading for several days, profiles of all the Proclaimed atheists who answer & ask questions here. I've went read threw Blogs, (that where listed) and followed up on many leads. Seems to me there are at least 12 "regulars" who also celebrate Christmas. Why is that?

Hi, how are you, hot outside isn't it, did you see the game last night....
Seriously, am I the only one who is beyond irritated by the mundane repetitveness of small talk? I can understand if the questions are genuine, but I see people ask these kinds of questions just to fill dead conversation, or because they feel obligated to have these meaningless conversations...maybe they don't know they are meaningless...

This is an awesome site. It gives information on various ways the earth can end, from supervolcanoes to nanotechnology to environmentally engineered plants to global warming. No, it's not a site about Revelations (although there is a piece on religious Armageddon on there).

Spend some time on the site - on the left, you'll see a list of various catastrophes. Don't skip the bottom part called "further reading" which talks about megatsunamis, Tunguska event and bird flu.

Note: If you are quite disturbed by things you have no control over, don't go to this site, LOL! I was quite upset for a few days over the description of how the world could become as "unhospitable" as Venus thanks to global warming! No, it's not a liberal site, either...it's just a possibilities site.

Tell me what scenario affects you most and WHY!
