It doesn't need to be scary, as long as you've put your trust in the Lord, relax. There's nothing you can do by worrying anyway. Worry never changed what is, or what will be. According to the Bible, life after death is eternal. We will have things to do. And no, it won't be strumming a harp on a cloud! Just remember that the Lord has it all figured out. He wants us to just trust Him for our future. He's brought us this far, and has kept things on track, so why wouldn't He continue to do so in the future? I've heard that you don't sweat the small stuff...and it's all small. I like that saying. It means I handle what I can and leave all the rest up to the Lord. Since I can't handle the future, I leave that up to Him and chill out. When you were little, say 10 years old, did you worry about your dad taking care of you? Did you worry about the bills getting paid? Or that there would be enough gas in the car so that he could get to work? Most likely, you didn't worry about that because it was up to your dad to handle it. And he did. Or maybe it was your mom taking care of business. She didn't burden you with all the "what if's". She just got the job done without your concern over it getting done. It's that way with God. He's got it under His control and doesn't need us fussing over it. I am His child and He's taken care of me very well, even without me thinking about it. I used to worry about the future, and at one point I didn't even want to live to see the year 2000 because I was so afraid of the future. But look what I would have missed! And what you see as "all of this" will not exist in the afterlife. It will be a brand new life, with much more to look forward to. I've heard that there's a mansion that's being prepared for me as we speak! Wow, who wouldn't look forward to that?! So, you see, there's nothing to be afraid of. God has a plan and I'm so glad I'm a part of that plan. It's all good. <*)))><

QTpie,
I am sorry you are confused and frustrated. No, there is not an ending. You either go to heaven that's if you had accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Which I believe he is a merciful God and will give you a chance up til the moment you meet him face to face. And if you still spit in his eye and want nothing to do with him, then you get a trip to hell (And I don't mean hell michigan) that is never ending misery. At the best remember the worst day you have ever had in your life and never being able to out live it. What will it feel like? you asked, I think in our flesh it may be painful etc. But our Spirits won't hurt. That is my Thursday opinion, and I am sticking to it. Hope it helped.

Time is proportional to event, man as far as we know is the only creature with the concept of time.
Do this...remember when you were young ? You would go out and play, your mom would say be back in one hour. (remember how much you could do in that hour?)
compare that to an hour in your life now.
now go to someone that is in their 30's and ask them, then ask some one in their 40's 50's,60's,,Each one will tell you that time gets shorter as you get older (it seems to go faster)
it is an man made concept, It will have no meaning later on. To exhist on earth is to have sunrises and sunsets, So we have a day it has 24hrs and 365 days in a year (time to travel it path around the sun, but if we lived on neptune we would have a 16 hr day but our year would be 165 earth years long. So alond life for us would be ..What 6 months..
In God's realm I don't think there is a concept of time. At the very least it is very differant from what we concieve it to be

well it all depends on how you have lived so far, so if haven;t done anything wrong (which is impossible), you would never feel the fear of the death, if you have done something wrong you would definitely feel the fear of death and the afterlife, because at the time when you die you have one thing to worry. YOU will be missing your loved ones, because these are the people who would always cover your back whenever you have committed a sin.

It doesn't end. Life for all of us will go on forever.
This life determines where we will spend eternity.
Eternity can sound scary especially if you aren't sure what it will be like. Read the Bible. It will help you.
When you say "there is not end to all of this".. if you mean wars, fighting, rape and things like that. Yes!!! There will be an end to that. There will be an end to sin.

A question without a definitive answer. All that could be added is you will have to wait your turn and find out for yourself, and when you see the great big letters T-H-E then watch for the rest of the big letters that always follow E-N-D!

Read Revelation in the Bible. But for now, you live forever no matter if you go to heaven or hell. Just accept Jesus as your Lord and savior. Go to your like nearest church for more info.
