Wise men or even wise women for that matter when they meet usually find common ground on which to speak.Two wise people are unlikely to be wise in all things only in their chosen areas,so to seek common ground makes sense.My Father was wise in many ways and he only spoke when he had something useful to say.It was unwise though to argue with him because however much wiser I as his son thought I was, he argued with such conviction that even when I knew, and I'm sometimes sure HE knew that his argument was spurious; he still appeared to win.

i think she means, what do they speak about to each other? ie: they're both wise so what new information can they share?

they probably do what the rest of us do and talk about the weather and the state of the local public transport system.
