Shame on you for singing over the internet! Who said that? I think it would be the same as singing it in person or over the phone. Whoever said it was rude does not know what they are talking about!

I didn't know it was rude.. I thought it was festive and a nice thing to do or have done.....For some people this is as close as it gets to having "Happy Birthday" sung to them....I like it. :))

The only thing that I can think of is that it is not very personal. Perhaps that was how someone viewed it as rude. If it were my bday and there was no other way, I would have really appreciated something like that!!

i dont know wherever you got this idea...but i dont see where its rude...how can you sing it over the internet.........top that off how is it rude......sounds thoughtful to me..atleast soem cares of that person b-day
