here is a list of stuff that has happened to me since Sept. of 2005: I was told my son has Ewing Sarcoma, a bone cancer, my son had a solid tumor removed from his right femur and an internal prothesis put in, he still can't walk without the aid of a cane and is in therapy everyday, my husband had a massive stroke and is totally different personality wise, grumpy and cantankerous, my mom had to get her leg amputated, i got fired from my job of 18 years, i got cut off unemployment, my disabled son was denied disability, leaving us with no income. I enrolled in school and will graduate in two years with a degree in medical office assistant, meanwhile i can't find a job, my husband has the personality of a grizzly bear, my mom is depressed, i feel like throwing in the towel. What the hell is happening?

There's this guy at work that i really like. He doesn't know I'm gay. I've been holding it in for quite some time now. Some guys on here said that it was the best thing to do. So today I finally let loose and asked him out for drinks this weekend. Should I just let it all out this wekend or not? I might not get to go out with him again. He's straight and he has a girlfriend. I can't seem to move away from what I'm feeling coz he says the nicest things to me. Eg. "you have such a kind heart" or "I've never met anybody like you, you're the most sensitive guy I know", etc. I fee like I'm going crazy! Please help?

This question may sound conceded, but I promise its not:

I am in the military and as a result I work with a lot of people my own age. And no disrespect to them but I stand above them in most aspects. I am the most skilled on our equipment (communication electronics), a strong workhorse, in the best shape, a homeowner, have a beautiful wife, get more recognition and awards etc. etc.
Anyway the guys I work with really look up to me, as they have told me. They look to me for guidance, they follow me and ask me to counsel them.
Which makes me proud and flattered; but does anyone else hate the burden that puts on you? I can never make the smallest mistake, because they are watching. Whenever there is a difficult situation they ask me what to do, whenever there is a physical competition I have to win. The list goes on and on.
Its not like I outrank these guys, were all the same pay grade.

So my question is, do you think its better to be the best or to skate by?

I've known several Christians to be quite rude to me, and tell me that I'm going to hell for not believing in what they say. I've read the Bible, but haven't memorized it. It seems to me that I live by more of Jesus' teachings than some of these people. Even though I don't believe in God, I act morally. I turn the other cheek, love my neighbor, and try to help humanity in the small ways I can. This is because I believe these things are right, not because I fear God or the law. How can one claim to be a Christian when an atheist believes more fundamental tenents of one's religion than the believer?

Remember Muhammad Atta? Did you ever see a member of the Taliban who didnt wear eye shadow?

You see, Islamic countries separate the sexes, each to varying degrees.

As a result, men show the most physical intimacy toward each other in Islamic countries.

Its against the law in many Islamic countries to kiss woman, but men kiss each other commonly, in public.

You will never see men holding hands with woman, but its VERY VERY COMMON to see men holding hands with men in Islamic countries....even walking with arms around each other or snuggled at a beach. Dont believe me...do some research online or dig into it...its for real...i dont exagerrate a word.

Why does this matter? Well, it wouldnt except for the fact that almost all armed conflict worldwide is based on Islamic religious demands to install Shariah Law (this way of life). Islamic countries have the highest homosexuality and incest rates as a result...yet they scream hate for out culture 24/7. Amazing isnt it?

Examples...
the first commandment says put no god before god....
They put Jesus, Mary and a host of saints above god.
the second commandment says don't bow down to idols (statues) that should speak for itself

when their church rules started it was hidden from public scrutiny but as the "bible" began to be exposed they neglected to change their rutuals to at least give the illusion they were following something spiritually greater.

These are but 2 examples... So how could the pope get away with calling himself serving "god"?
The closer you look the more you find
same can be said for other religions

Please keep your answer to less than ten lines. I've already read the book and won't bother to read long winded regergitated lectures.
Thank You

I personally think they look tacky in the extreme.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against tattoos - just the rose, bird, butterfly, fairy variety that seem to adorn a lot of lady's shoulders in a most unattractive manner..........

Of course, you may not agree, so feel free to voice your opinions with gusto!
