here is a list of stuff that has happened to me since Sept. of 2005: I was told my son has Ewing Sarcoma, a bone cancer, my son had a solid tumor removed from his right femur and an internal prothesis put in, he still can't walk without the aid of a cane and is in therapy everyday, my husband had a massive stroke and is totally different personality wise, grumpy and cantankerous, my mom had to get her leg amputated, i got fired from my job of 18 years, i got cut off unemployment, my disabled son was denied disability, leaving us with no income. I enrolled in school and will graduate in two years with a degree in medical office assistant, meanwhile i can't find a job, my husband has the personality of a grizzly bear, my mom is depressed, i feel like throwing in the towel. What the hell is happening?

Wow!!! Don't know what else to say. I lost my 18 yr old in June, 2005. And my mother 10 days after him in June, 2005. And I thought I was having it BAD!!! I guess that old adage that my mother used to say is true. "There's always someone who has it worse". I am sooo sorry, that I don't know what to say. All I can do is to tell you that I am on yahoo messenger, as americanhousewife2005 and my email is americanhousewife2005@yahoo.com...I'm truly there for you to talk to!!!

Take it from an old bird, it is called "life" . Unfortunately there are cycles in life when it seems that all is negative. If you can find it in your psyche to try and find something to cheer about. Make a list of all the bad and the good and if you are really true to yourself you will find good things are coming your way too. Hang in there, this too shall pass. I have been there more than once. Do not throw in the towel and find someone to talk to,

You're going through a lot of rough stuff...sadly life can just do that to us sometimes. You just can't throw in the towel though, no matter how bad it gets because tomorrow is gonna come whether you're ready for it or not. Better to brace yourself, finish school, find maybe even a part-time job if that's all you can get, and fend for yourself like you're fighting for your life, because you are...good luck.

I am so sorry ,life really sucks at times. Get a lawyer for your son,one rarely gets disability without going to court .They won't charge you until his disability comes through .God Bess.
