no one wants to go to a dirty establishment the outside of a place matters as much as the inside and toilets arent meant to be swept but cleaned.....they probaly have specific people to clean the restrooms at specific times....

Well, a worker is to do what the employer asks to do. Sometimes that means doing work that might consider demeaning, like sweeping the parking lot. If you're asked to do something that you don't want to do, you have two options.... Do it and keep your complaints to yourself or quit and find another job.
So they might be asked to plunge a clogged toilet (I did when I worked at Pizza Hut as a kid). They may be asked to clean up puke from some sick kid. Or they may be asked to be polite to a customer who is acting like a jerk.
Welcome to the world of work my friend. It ain't as glamorous as they told you in high school!

I worked at Hardee's years ago and we had to sweep outside too. You can't imagine how many cigarette butts are out there along the sidewalk, especially through the drive thru area.
Cleaning toilets is part of the job too and, trust me, some people don't know how to use the toilet!

stupid. they have to sweep the parking lot because if there is trash every where people dont want to eat there. i work at wendys and one of the things i have to do issweepthe parking lot so that people dont think that the restraunt is a bad place to eat. if they see a clean parking lot then they want to come eat there.
go stick your head in the toilet.
