Examples...
the first commandment says put no god before god....
They put Jesus, Mary and a host of saints above god.
the second commandment says don't bow down to idols (statues) that should speak for itself

when their church rules started it was hidden from public scrutiny but as the "bible" began to be exposed they neglected to change their rutuals to at least give the illusion they were following something spiritually greater.

These are but 2 examples... So how could the pope get away with calling himself serving "god"?
The closer you look the more you find
same can be said for other religions

Please keep your answer to less than ten lines. I've already read the book and won't bother to read long winded regergitated lectures.
Thank You

The pope knows god doesn't actually exist, he's in it for the money and the power.

1. All Christians including Catholics believe Jesus is God, one person of the Holy Trinity.

2. Mary and the other saints are not above God, they are our brothers and sisters in Christ, part of the Body of Christ and the Communion of Saints.

3. Do you have pictures of your loved ones? Yes. Do you worship them? No, you love and honor the people they represent and you may ask your loved ones to pray for you. We do the same.

4. Jesus and the Apostles started the Church. I'm not sure about which rules you are speaking.

It's not very fair having a question longer than ten lines and requesting an answer less that ten lines.

With love in Christ.

devotion to GOD comes from the "Heart". Its not in statues we see in churches. For instance, we catholics has images of Jesus saints and patrons just to replicate their good deeds and to be sigth as a good example,it is not the image itself who we worship but the person itself.

if you look at religion you will always find flaws - after all, they are passed down by flawed humans. on the other hand, you can look at religion for the hope, generosity, and love they bring and see some of the best of humanity. if you've seen the da vinci code you'll know what i'm talking about. look at religion for the faith and hope it brings, not for the flaws in people.

I guess it is true...people on here read what they want, and they see only what they want. I would stronly suggest you read the Canons of the Catholic Church as well as what and who the Pope is, his role and his heritage.

Please, please please, don't judge or comment on any relegious leader unless you know all the facts, and no go running with half baked ideas. It realy only shows how stupid you are.

Yes they should practice what they preach, but sometimes they might slip up, then they should repent.
