Yep! I'm French but live in London. I started doing it on the American version. I pretty much never go to the UK one as you can find those questions on the American one. It's good for language practise and also cultural.

I have to say that I'm quite appalled by the French spelling and grammar! But it's fun to go to the different sites, to see what people talk about. For ex., if you go to the American religious section, it's kind of scary! The French one is a bit less extreme!

So far I've answered through the UK, US, French and Spanish portals. Still to try my hand at the Italian, the Argentinian, the Mexican, the US in Spanish, The Canadian, the Australian and the Brazilian - too many questions too little time.

It's an ok way to practice your writing skills in a given language and I've already asked a question of the Spanish!

Yes, I started using them ...

I asked a few questions in Y!A France ... just to re-animate my language skills ...
and I answered some questions in Y!A Germany (some people from Y!A put some very stupid questions in there - perhaps to break the ice) - I answered mostly questions about the German "Bundesliga" (= Premier League) - because there is no category for that on the regular Y!A

I would if I was more confident with my languages, but I know GCSE French and just bits of Spanish, so I'd end up just using a translator and not getting my meaning across properly.

Yes, I have started participating in Yahoo Answers in Yahoo France. I have often used Yahoo France for it's News and Weather reports, and was hoping that "Answers France" would be available soon. And....it's here.

I've been answering questions on the spanish sites. Haven't been brave enough to ask one, but I tend not to ask a lot anyway...
