As a child the chandelier used to swing from side to side, and the radio would turn on by itself in the middle of the night.
One time on a camping trip I was walking back from the bathrooms at that moment right between day and night and I saw someone walk across the front of the site and stop behind a tree. So I figure one of the people is going to jump out and try to surprise me, so I pull out my flashlight, walk up to the tree, turn on the light, and there's no one there.
One time I was alone in a house, and I felt a presence. I looked at a mobile hanging motionless, and said, "If there is anyone else here, make the mobile spin." The next moment, the mobile began to spin.
One time I was driving into Ponca State Park to set up a large camping gathering, and the sides of the road were lined with spirits. All standing there, clearly visible to everyone, calmly welcoming us back.
On another camping trip, we felt a spirit near the bon-fire. We had a ring of 40 tiki-torches around the bonfire. It was a still and windless night, but all the tiki flames near the spirit bent in. One of the people in the circle had a fancy camera. After the campout she went to get the film developed, and all the photos from before the visitor turned out, but after that all the film was blank. She took the camera in to be repaired. The repairman asked if she'd been in a nuclear power plant. All the innards were fried from electromagnetism
My grandmother died while my niece was in utero. After my niece was born, she would look up at areas where no one was standing, and laugh and giggle. We all knew that she was looking at gramma, so we never showed her any pictures. Finally, at about a year old, she could speak, and my sister showed her the family photo album. My niece picked out her photo and said, "That's Old Gramma."

When I was younger I lived in a civil war building and my room was all the way at the back of the house and there were these stairs there, but when you went to the bottom of the staircase, there was a door that was locked. When I tried to fall asleep every night, it sounded like somebody was coming up the stairs but there was never anyone there. One day, my dad and I went into the basement to get our bikes when we noticed something behind an armoire. We moved it and there was a door identical to the one upstairs. It turns out that it was a hideout for slaves on the Underground Railroad. I switched rooms with my brother that night.

Her name was Edith and she lived in the old Evertt home (built in 1794) in Killingworth, CT. It was a restaurant I managed, and Edith had been the "maiden aunt" who raised her two nephews for Squire Evertt. She liked me, and would call to me and visit me, when I was there alone. She did not like women, and would throw things at them, especially the waitresses, even on a busy night at the restaurant. She walked in one night, and the bartender, who was greeting people, saw her, with flowing long hair, and an antique dress. She turned before he could greet her, and went into the old part of the house. When he followed her in, she had disappeared, even though there was no exit. My boss did not believe the stories, until he was there alone one day, and Edith floated across the room in front on him. He had his first drink in 20 years right after that.

Yes. I lived with four, for nine months in 1994-95. They were a family, Grandma, Grandpa, an Uncle and a Niece. I only saw Molly, the little girl, she would talk to me. Uncle he was creepy and cold. Grandma and Grandpa I sensed. The Grandpa would slam the doors. Grandma was a warm presence. They all stayed in the house because Molly, who died first was told (prior to death) that she was not allowed to go outside (to play). As they all eventually died, they stayed to care for her. I released them to the Light and cleared the house. It has recently been torn down.

seen, no. heard, felt, seen the aftermath of what a ghost has done, yes. my sister had an egg thrown at her while she lay in bed, it smashed on the wall above her head. my grandmother was scratched badly one night. another tore a friends shirt while i was behind her running from her house, it almost knocked her over. I've heard one laughing in a house where i was visiting friends, things got freaky soon after and they moved out. lots more like this. almost all in the same neighborhood.

Yes, once when I was a teenager I had gone to my grandma's house. One night when I went to my bedroom I saw a white translucent figure. I saw it and the next moment it was gone. I don't know if it was a ghost or my imagination or something else but I did see something.
Have you seen a ghost?

I haven't personally, but my dad has, one time he was sitting in the living room, and he had beads hanging up in a hallway, (this was the 80's, hence the beads) and they started to spread like someone was walking through them, but noone was there. That is just one encounter.

I know some think ghosts are not real, but I have been a first hand witness to a pretty creepy one...needless to say, I had to move.
