One thing I havent understood about me is that after enduring a horrendous rape and all the after effects...I have always been doing really good for a while and then it seems that a evil cloud of darkness would fall on me and I would get totally driven to fall into some kind of abusive sex thing. It has seemed that its like drugs and withdrawal to me. I hate it and and after its over I get slammed with the deepest guilt. Then i crawl out and get better...then the whole cycle has come rolling back like crazy again. The best way to say how it felt was I would get this sweating panicky crazy desire and it just drags me back. Yet, I hate it and want nothing to do with any of that sensual life. Whats my problem?

Im not sure how many of you know about the introduction of momothesism in the world, but did the heaven and hell concept not come from the ancient egyptians and their belief in the invincibles i.e. the stars we the spirits of dead gods and that after death they became a star. Your thoughts please.

Well my brother came home last night with a f@g. My BROTHER-I had NO idea that he was...you know...one of THOSE people..So...I was a little upset...to say the least. I knocked the f@g down and just repeatedly stomped on it. I couldn't stop! I just hate f@gs so much! I want to kill all f@gs!! F@gs are just so filthy and disgusting...they mercilessly kill thousands and thousands of people--and this is not to mention their repulsive stench.
My brother of couse just lit up another one-but he was more than a little annoyed with me as f@gs aren't cheap these days. I just don't know what to do... I never thought my brother would be a smoker.
Any advice?

Christians married to non-Christians?

From my last post, I was told that my God fearing husband will have no memory of me once he enters unto Heaven.

This is to all those who have married someone whos beliefs are opposite of theirs. How do you feel to know that so many "true believers" believe that once in Heaven, your significant other will not even remember you. What is the point of marriage then?

Hey my father is orginally from mexico. he feels soo tired and bored, disappointed, etc.. and tired cause he has done backbreaking work since about 30 years ago in usa. He wants to go back at 60( 3 more years) to mexico and live there forever never come back. He said he will sell the house we live at now, ..and i'm not going to go cause mexico's just not for me. I'm 26 currently no job.. no savings, and i have bunch of debt( school loans). If my mom and dad leave, i will remain homeless. But i can avoid it if i can mature now..before all this happens. I'm such a **** . gosh , how can i deal with this? i'm looking for work, just don't know how..ccause what i'm doing apparently not effective. Then my father has trucks, apartments he owns... and etcc.. i'm gonna stay alone to deal with a bunch of crap that i don't even want..

has anyone had this before? Then also, add to that i'm going to be alone.. mentally and emotionally very lonely.. i'm not sure what to do.. help?

This is what Jesus prayed for over and over again in the bible that His Church be PERFECTLY ONE CHURCH with only ONE FAITH. He said that His Church would be a light to the world, and a city on set on a hill can't be hidden. (Paraphrasing)

Please don't say that we are all united because we are not, there are over 33,000 Protestant denominations (divisions) calling themselves "Christian" but each teaching something totally different about Jesus and salvation and each following it's own tradition by the one who founded it.

Watering down the faith to the lowest common denominator is not an option because it would be pointless to make Christianity just like what rest of the world teaches.

I wonder if there has been a curse on me. I was raped at age 12 by a man my fathers age. My father was in the military and was often very tough and subject to rages. I ended up even in my spiritual life subject to ministers who had anger problems. My friend even told me " i am concerned about you..you end up with men who abuse you ". I have even seemed to pick lovers that are abusive. They seem fine at first then turn out to be very volitile. What the heck is my problem? Why have i been a magnet for mean and angry and even viloent men ? Is it a spiritual curse ?I really do not pick these men on purpose. Please give me advice.I am 18 now and I cant take this anymore. Its been to long.

I was out walking late last night (around 10pm) pushing my 1yr old in a stroller through our neighborhood when my neighbor's dog got out of their yard and started barking at me viciously, I started jogging away from their yard and the dog followed me and nipped me in the thigh, I saw it was a lab. I know they normally keep him chained up in the back yard but he got out that time and I feel like sueing them even though the bite did not break the skin. They offered to take me to the doctor the next morning but I said I wanted to go to the emergency room that night and they couldn't because they were babysitting somebody else's kids. They offered to pay for everything and they took a picture of my leg even but I would rather sue them than take their money. I feel they are mad for having to pay it so why should I accept it.....just sue them. They showed me their dog's vaccine record and he is up to date on rabies and other shots. She apologized to me several times but I want to sue.

I wonder why God chose to send His Son, Jesus with His Message into the Middle East, and not to another contenent where pagan religions and spiritualities were more prevailent.

It seems odd that Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge and Christ is born into the "civilized world." Not, primative and pagan locations. What's your take on this?

There is a vaccine for cervical cancer that is going through approval so far it has a 100% success rate. Conservatives are opposed to it because they say it will promote teenage sex. How many people even knew that Cervical Cancer was a potentially sexually transmitted and this still screws the people that get it through heredity.
I also have met a woman whose husband cheated on her and gave it to her does she deserve to die because of the Conservatives views.

remembering where I parked my car,. I finally found it unlocked the door and was on my way home. I had a lot on my mind, pulled up at home ran inside made dinner for the family. I then went back outside to bring my packages into my house, when I noticed that I had the wrong car. I looked in the glove compartment and found a gun. Now I'm scared!!!!What should I do???

I'm from New York and it's pretty liberal down here, but I'm not sure New York counts for the rest of the world (or the Yahoo! World in this case) so what's your answer?
