One Native American culture does or used to. I think it was the Cheyenne tribe who had particular (male) members that were considered to be neither female or male but were somewhere 'spirtually' inbetween. I don't remember what they were called but these males would basically take on the gender-role of a female and engage in homosexual acts with other males who were also deemed spiritual bridges between the sexes. They were considered divine beings and were celebrated in their culture.

Wicca does, for one.
Sociologically, it is not a 'normal' thing. Society (which more or less implies 'religion' acting in the name of 'politics') either has to condemn it outright or make of it something special.
In the society we are in, which is in a big struggle between spiritual and secular, it has as many valencies as there are people, almost.
We shall get there one day.

Most churches of Christendom may not freely allow it,but they condone it,which is just as bad. These churches claim to know God,but by their works, they disown him.---how sad!

Jesus says, " treat your neighbor as you would treat yourself"
I agree with Him. I had friends and students who were homosexual. I never had a problem with it. I understand that religion pretty much casts them as sinners.
But, not Jesus. He loves them and I love them.

God loves everyone. You don't have to be part of an organized religion to be accepted by God.
