I think thats cool because they are still helping the environment and standing behind a cause, but also staying true to themselves and their prefences and likes.

I don't see anything wrong with it. I guess I would be one myself. But that's because I'm just not a big meat eater, not because I decided to become a flexitarian (this is the first I've heard of the word).

Damn, I thought you were talking about something else that involved actual flexibility. I was going to say they are great in the workout videos.

The ones you mention, hmmm: They don't eat a lot of meat they probably don't need the calories and protein, since most people are sedentary. They realize they should eat SOME meat to get the proper vitamins. Sounds logical to me. I just don't like the broccoli flavored donuts.

Flexitarians may choose to be so for any number of reasons. Whether it's an ethical issue or just the choice of a healthier lifestyle, kudos to those who set their personal standards where THEY want to.

my roommate is one. I didnt know they were called flexitarians. I guess they arent vegetarians because of animal rights, they just dont like meat. My roommate just doesn't like the texture of meat, but she'll eat burned bacon and beef jerky...

I think they should either go full on vegetarian, or have a hamburger. Why do something halfway?

Veggies are good for us. It's nice to get your protein though.
