I wonder why God chose to send His Son, Jesus with His Message into the Middle East, and not to another contenent where pagan religions and spiritualities were more prevailent.

It seems odd that Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge and Christ is born into the "civilized world." Not, primative and pagan locations. What's your take on this?

Christ was begat in the womb of civilization. He couldn't have come from anywhere else in the world.

Consider - if Christ came from Antartica - he would be the King of the Penguins.

If Christ came from Austrailia- he would be the king of (considering there were only aboriginal tribes in Austrailia at the time of Christ's birth) the Aboriginals.

IF he were born in North, or South America, he would be the King of the Incas, Aztecs, Maya, Navaho, Comanche, etc....

He was born into the only "Civilized"world.

Biblical data based on the gospels and other books suggest that Christ was born in Bethlehem. Facts like the extent of the Roman empire and the census taken at the time of His birth, for example, are safe pointers to the location of His birth.

Throughout the Old Testament, we find a lot of prophets - major and minor - who spoke to the chosen people of God. They all tried to set right the broken connection that man had with God; something that was caused by the Fall of Adam and Eve.

God knew that it was well nigh impossible for man to re-establish this connection, although He gave man a long rope to make an attempt at it. In the end, Jesus had to come to the earth to reconnect man to the Father, which He had to do in the form of man.

Civilized or not, the world was created by God and all people are the sheep of His pastures.

The important question is not where Christ was born and where He lived. What matters is whether He is born in you and lives in you and all human beings.

Cheers!

You seem to have a hard time with God's Will...what fruit have you been eating that would have you question the Almighty's Divine reason and purpose? What seems odd is your perception of "born in a manger" being a "civilized" world...Jesus could have been born at County General Hosp. if that had been God's Will but alas, that was His will for your birth...not THE SON.

It was another one of the prophecies that was fulfilled in Jesus. Pagan religions were very prevalent. He was born at the time of King Herod who sought his execution. King Herod had all the children of Bethlehem and the surrounding area under 2 years of age killed. He did it because he knew that the prophecy was being fulfilled and he was trying to alter the plan so that he wouldn't lose his power as King. Jesus and his family went into Egypt, to avoid Herod, immediately after he was born and remained there until Herod's death. Then Jesus came back which fulfilled another prophecy saying that he would be called out of Egypt. Also there were actually two Bethlehems. Bethlehem of Galilee and Bethlehem of Judea. The Bible says he was born in Bethlehem of Judea.

I can only think that Jesus was born and taught his message in the middle east because that was where the perfect blood line was for him to be born and received. If Mary having the perfect blood line for Jesus was any other place then Jesus would have been born and taught the same message there.

Because Jesus was the Jewish Messiah. Jewish history and theology was a unique thing, not just some random pagan worship. Jesus could not have appeared elsewhere because nowhere else had the historical context. And without the context, the incarnation is meaningless.

You haven't read the Bible, have you?

he DID send his son where pagan religions and spiritualities were more prevailent, BECAUSE Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge. they sinned, and it had to be fixed, which took the blood of Jesus (His son) to fix the problem.

i dont claim to know the mind of the Almighty God, and i dont come anywhere close to knowing all of the prophecies concerning Jesus in the OT, but im pretty sure some of those prophecies said where he had to be born. like, he had to be born in Jerusalem of a virgin and be of the line of david. that pretty much confines his birth to the middle east.

Its all part of the grand illusion created to ward of all other religions, to bring it to a place where the oppressed slave of Egypt once built the great pyramids of Egypt, freed by their god, the same god that offered it to all nation, but only the oppressed took it because they had nothing to loose, then they created the grand "Judo-Christian religion" to satisfy the Romans

Well, the religion of the Jews, to which he belonged, foretold a messiah. He had a message. He was a product of his time and his geography.
