Christians married to non-Christians?

From my last post, I was told that my God fearing husband will have no memory of me once he enters unto Heaven.

This is to all those who have married someone whos beliefs are opposite of theirs. How do you feel to know that so many "true believers" believe that once in Heaven, your significant other will not even remember you. What is the point of marriage then?

Hogwash.

Pure hogwash.

My husband and I had different religious beliefs when we married. And, people would stick their noses in all day long. My mom even said she had a dream that everyone in the family was ascending to heaven on a cloud...and she looked around and I was nowhere to be found.

Then, said that the pastor said hell was 800 times hotter than the oven on its highest setting. Asked me if I knew how hot that was. I was so shocked I was speechless. She said, turn your oven all the way up - feel the heat. And, imagine it 800 times hotter. Then told me to come to church and get 'right with god'.

Don't listen to them. They are crazy. You shouldn't do anything out of fear. Especially decide something that big. They don't even know about heaven - they've never visited.

The point of marriage is wordly, and will not be continued in heaven. Even two believers who are married will only remember their bond on earth, but it will not carry over to Heaven. If you are a non-believer, and he is a believer, and goes to heaven, and you dont, he will have no memory of you, its true. God promises us no pain and hurt in heaven. If he remembered you, it would pain him, and God takes that away.

Marriage is for eath, not for heaven, and thats just the way it was designed.

There is a place in the bible that says something like when we get to heaven, our relationships will be as the angels have now...simply plutonic types of aquaintances, not relationships...

I think that they will remember each other but they won't feel sadness or pain. He won't feel sad that you aren't with him. He will remember you. When people go to heaven they will remember each other.

Because GOD wants his people to be happy and wholesome in this life time while we are here.
