I've noticed that as I get older women become more attracted to me. Not just women my own age but much younger women. In fact I was at a wedding recently where the bride was 20 and the groom about 48. Strange eh?

Since I was a child, I would hear songs being played either on the radio or on my records/cds/tapes at home. And the songs would play over and over in my mind whenever I tried to concentrate on something, such as reading. I obviously had trouble reading books in high school, because every time I wanted to read, a song would come on in my mind, and there was no way to get rid of it. Period. I have "perfect pitch" and can hear the musicality in the songs EXACTLY as they are heard aloud.

For the past several years in my 32 years of living, this occurance began decreasing, and I was able to do things that once would have been impossible for me to do, like go to college and get straight As. However, now I'm having issues with this again. Why is my mind doing this, and what can be done to help alter it without medications?

The song stuck in my head right now is "Don't bring me down" by E.L.O. :-)

I dont mean this in an offensive way.

But seriously, why do teenage girls end up in fits of uncontrolable of screaming and crying around boy bands. Its it a messed up chemical inbalance during puberty? a under developed ability to control there emotions, and project so much feeling to the idea of who a "boy band" is that there head goes pop when they meet them?

I am really curious what you guys think?

Thanks

I don't know what to do anymore i am really fed up because i literally have nothing to live for.

I am not that pretty or smart...i thought i could deal with that
I dont have friends...i thought i could deal with that also
BUT

From the day i was born nothing good has ever happend to me actually only seriously bad things. I've been abused in every way imaginable and been through too much and i havent been "compensated" for it...sure growing up with one parent i wud expect me to atleast excell or be content with other parts of my life but im not because nothings going on for me. I have no siblings to share a bond with and ive been for therapy but nothings working.

I also dont want to blame my past because now i realize im on more or less the same page as everyone else but why cant i be someone special to anyone or do well or be content with other aspects of my life?

Im scared for the future and dont think ill ever be socially right and im too quiet...and nobody likes me

This I notice happens a lot. If you look thoughout history those who have little freinds or social deviate tend to perform the most complicated and hard to catch criminal acts. What is it about the socially withdrawn trait that relates to criminal behavior? And why do the criminal behavior that these people perform tend to be very difficult for people to investigate?

Nothing personal - but if you don't know the answer, please don't respond.
If you say "no" - that's NOT AN ANSWER and I will report abuse.
If you say "Google it" - that's NOT AN ANSWER and I will report abuse.
If you say "there's this place in Utah" and you don't have a number, e-mail, or website - that's not an answer I can use, and I will report abuse.

I'm havin a real hard time mentally right now (check my profile for some issues) I've cut up my arm, scratch the hell out of my legs and am feeling exteremly suicidal. My therapist has been trying so hard with me that I don't want him to feel that I'm letting him down. I see him at 3pm (1 1/2 hrs from now) but I really don't want him to know what I'm going through right now in fear that he'll abandon the theraputic relationship in that he might feel I can't be helped. Suicide is my choice of action please don't comment on how wrong that would be. I really need to know what to tell my therapist. Thanx
