What causes teenage girls to become overally emotional and scream at boybands?

Question

I dont mean this in an offensive way.

But seriously, why do teenage girls end up in fits of uncontrolable of screaming and crying around boy bands. Its it a messed up chemical inbalance during puberty? a under developed ability to control there emotions, and project so much feeling to the idea of who a "boy band" is that there head goes pop when they meet them?

I am really curious what you guys think?

it's the uncanny tendency of large groups to drop their IQs at the door. Never underestimate the stupidity of large groups of people. Ya know, I've seen guys go "ape" at concerts too.
