Well for me I very much enjoy serving and doing things for others so I would say everyday sometimes even more than once. I believe if it truely comes from your heart all the blessings will follow which is much more rewarding than wanting something in return.

I'm with 132 on this one. I believe it is very rare for someone to do things for others and expect nothing in return.

Even if we don't get a "thank you", we usually feel a bit better about ourselves for what we did, or feel less guilty about other things we have/haven't done.

In that respect we are usually paying ourselves when we do things for others - even if we don't realise that's is what we are doing.

not very often, but what i often do is to is to do nice things to others and expect nothing , not even a thank you in return.
and if they do thank me i would feel very embarassed.
i just like to do nice things for others , for it's own sake.
God bless,
gabe

Every day. And I don't even expect a "thank you", though I usually get one.

I do things for my Family all the time, that is all part of being a Mum. I sometimes get a thank you, it isn't important.

Wanting thanks is no difference to wanting payment.
To really give, do it expecting nothing, anonymously giving is good...but don't do that thinking it's earning anything, give from from the heart because you really want to.
