not depressed, maybe overwhelmed. Do we REALLY need 37 different types of margerine?? Probably not.

I know what you mean. When I came back from the USSR, after being exiled from the U.S., I went throught the same thing, except, over there, sometimes you had no choice at all; when you finally got to the front of the line, the shelves were bare. You could always find vodka, though. Another thing I found out is that in America, it's easy to find a party. In the USSR, the party finds you.

specially situations, when I hit the buffet line 4 or 5 circumstances i will get that way. i think of that is by using fact there would desire to've been some undesirable nutrition sitting on that lamp too long or some thing. Then I would desire to try this little dance to the bathing room so i will make room for yet another holiday via the line.

I know what you mean. I went to England for a few weeks, and when I got back I seriously thought I was going to go through "choice withdrawal", because there's no way in hell that I need five different brands of ketchup.

That usually happens to me when I've just been abroad, but for the opposite reason as you, not enough choices.
On the other hand it happens to me when I want to buy old fashion plain crisps, difficult to find amongst all those new fangled flavours!!!!

Depressed? No. I live in Asia and there is only one choice or brand take it or leave it.....& often it does not work ie: soap powder that leaves stains etc.,

It makes it much harder to select healthy options compared to the yummy fattening or sugary ones. Too much temptation, however I get through it, thankfully. =)

As consumers, we demanded multiple choices.
We only have ourselves to blame.
