After reading a lot of the posts, I have noticed a pattern.
They seem to say nothing but detrimental things about themselves. i.e. "I am this, or I am that, etc", they never seem to say anything good or positive about themselves. I noticed myself falling back on those detrimental feelings and giving up.
I think a lot of this "conditioning" is brought on by not thinking of the positive and holding on to the negative thoughts. Therefor, I am trying positive reinforcement, rather than negative reinforcement. I started off by thinking of all the negative things people say to each other "You are a worthless, lazy, inconsiderate, Loser, etc"
It may not seem like the best start, but all I could think of is Stewart Smally "I am good enough, I am smart enough, and gosh darn it, people like me"
We don't often get much positive reinforcement, therefore we reinforce the negative and it turns into a vicous cycle, until it becomes unbearable.
