I live in a senior building where most who live here are at that age. Most of the residents here just make the best of each and every day. We show each other that we appreciate each other. We check in on each other, So the life goal?We do things for one another. I'd say to live every day as a gift from God and to make the best of it (life)is the first priority as a senior..I am a Jr. senior here as I am only 58 years old but over 55 years old which is considered a senior.

With the knowledge that this Life was a pure gift and that I was a lottery winner (not the $ one) in that I got to experience this life, I want to express the gratitude for that Gift for the rest of my life. In that way, I honor the Giftor, the mysterious, the God of all Beingness, for my Life. The life goals will be within that framework. They will be an expression of my gifts and talents.

After the age of 50, the emphasis is placed on sharing day-to-day joys and sorrows. There is less concern with glamor, wealth, accomplishment, and abstract goals. Many of the tensions of earlier years give way to a desire to savor life and its small pleaseures. Typical goals are: good health, retirement, leisure, and community. They have also come to terms of death, and are accepting it, even though before they might have been angry, in denial that it exists, depressed, etc. Typical concerns are : health fears
Hope that helped.

To stay in the best physical and mental health as I possibly could. To devote time to my interests- gardening, astronomy, whatever. Maybe take some classes at a local college to learn and also help keep my mind engaged and sharp. To entertain my friends, volunteer my time for a worthy cause, and laugh often and loud.

To live on their own, not have to wear diapers, and can eat solid food. Much like the goals of a baby.

To live like you were dying!!! You know, stuff that you always wanted to do, but never did! Go travel the world or get a tatoo or something. Everybody dies, but only some choose to LIVE their lives!!!
