Since Homosexuals say they cannot be cured, do you think thier is a cure for Pedophilia?

I have read many proven facts that pedophiles are born that way and cannot be cured if so shouldn't they all be in prison?
Thoughts?

The phrasing of your question gave me an intellectual dilemma separate from your actual query.... I personally do not consider homosexuality to be an illness, so going w that premise it is not something which can be cured.

However some others consider it to be deviant behavior which could lead to the conclusion it is some variety of mental illness.

It is nearly universally accepted that pedophilia IS a mental illness, & the recidivity rate is frightening in it's predictability. But there are treatments which show promise if the person continues to adhere to the treatment regimen (hormone therapy).

As heinous as this crime is, we grant a prison sentence for other crimes causing equally severe damage.

It might be a question to be decided by the courts ultimately...
