I remember James Spader's character "Alan Shore" from Boston Legal had it in an episode, and explained it was something sexual or had something to love. I couldn't find a website that came close to it, or if adults can have it, just children. I also remembered his character needed someone to watch him before he heads to the window to jump, or even restraints. Does anyone remember this?

My brother in law has adhd and I think my family is starting to develope the body language and speech patterns as him. They work with him 8 to 12 hours a day and he lives in the same home. This has been going on for around two years. But he has only been off his meds for about 9 months or so. It almost seems like every converstation with my family is one sided and not like my way or no way-more like long drug out stories on everything. Then a repeat? I feel when im talking to them they are thinking 100 different things and when we do connect its just that fake connection a lot of us use. I just wanted to see if I could be on the right track linking their odd behavor to ADHD?? and input would be cool thanks. O and no one is on drugs
no one is upset or fighting
were the normal messed up american family
always have worked together
just I noticed somthing diferent and I like having answers thats all

Sometimes (maybe 4 or 5 days out of the month for the last 6 months) I've been having episodes of extreme sadness, usually precluded by thoughts of self-worthlessness or an incident that gives me a feeling of self-worthlessness. One reason it happens so much is that I have no friends. Up to christmas eve, I had never talked to a girl on the phone, and had never even been close to being in a relationship. Now me and this girl have been talking for a month and gone out once (she had to cancel twice for good reasons). Twice since then I have managed to convince myself that her likeing me (she initiated the talking with me by the way) was some kind of mistake and that I was supposed to be alone, even though I do NOT want to be alone. Each of those times I got really depressed, and I hate it. Is this depression? or what?

I want to hear something other than "I would pay my house off, or I would get a new house, or take a trip?" I wanna hear, something like take a trip to Africa and buy all sorts of food for people.

2 nights ago, I dreamt that my husband was leaving me but it wasn't clear why but hinted that it was something I did.

Last night I dreamt that he was leaving me because he found someone else? (I actually caught them sleeping in bed)

What's up with that? I know he's not leaving me or interested in anyone else so why would I be dreaming stuff like this?

Easier for tourists, for businessmen, international activities, etc etc. Human race would be like one, probably we started off like this thousands of years ago. With modern technologies we can improve on it, and use them for sms, video conferences and so on.

I desperately need help. I am such an introverted, shy person, and I have so much trouble opening up to my girlfriend. We have long silences and there doesn't seem to be much passion in our relationship. I love her so much. I love her daughter also. I don't want to break up with her. I want to feel close, but I am constantly second-guessing myself. We are just so boring together. I've talked to her about our situation, and I told her that I don't know how she can be with someone who is such a bump on a log. She says that she doesn't mind, but the fact of the matter is that we just don't have much fun together. She has a disability, so we can't go on long walks, etc like many couples. A lot of times we just sit in front of the TV. I feel close to her, but at the same time, I feel like something is missing. I DO NOT want to break up with her, but at the same time, I want to make her happy. If I can't make her happy, it's unfair to stay with her, right? We've been together for 8 mths.

seriously, i'm teaching middle school in an inner city nyc school, and it's out of control. besides being cursed at daily, i have really had it! the kids are out of control, and i also feel ineffective as a teacher...no, ineffective is too sugarcoated, i feel like a failure.
so, should i stay till the end of the year and continue down this path of self-flagellation, or should i get another job. Mind you, this is my 4th year teaching, but first in the south bronx so i know i can teach , but i just think that teaching in teh inner city in nyc is just too tough. i'm too sensitive and nice...so. basically, wrong place, but should i stick it out? it looks bad on a resume if you quit mid year, but then again, it's horrible on my nerves and self esteem to stay...not to mention that the depression from teh job stress is starting to affect my relationship///
