That all depends.
Are you attributing your own idiocy to your personal situation or your participation in Yahoo Answers? Case in point, attribution not attritbution.
I think everyone has "idiot" moments in them, part of them. So, yes, being an idiot is somewhat ingrained in everyone's personality. The extent and magnitude of it varies.
However, from reading your question, I'm not sure if you are using the fundamental attribution error correctly.
Could you elaborate?

No, I don't think everybody is an idiot. Some are morons,
some are abnormal,
some are subnormal,
some are as lazy as two bones in a pot
some are not bad,
some are brilliant, good and kind..
and some would just knock your socks off with their brilliance and wit ... and sometimes I find them making answers on this Yahoo!Answers ... it just takes my breath away .... mostly they are Irish, but I can't help that ... it must be the emerald green of their isle! There's just something about them .... and the Asian Indians! Oh, well.. what do I know? I'm just an American!
and by the way, your little avatar dog reminds me of a story....
A woman, just back from Paris, was telling her friends over tea that she found the French to be wonderful. "And," she said, even the DOGS speak French!"
I mean, I HOPE that is not a fundamental error somehow!!!!!
Love & Peace!

Since "idiot" refers to someone making idioms and does not describe a or any specific person, if what you're saying is people aren't educated then I can say that from all the college degrees, MBA's, JD's, MD's, etc. etc. that surely there are intelligent people in this country. Maybe you thought "idiot" meant a person, which yes is an error on your part. Usually idioms are comments or funny things to make people laugh.

Your fundamental "attribution error" might be an outcome of your fault-finding mechanism embedded in to your system in the head!
And, every one has this "syndrome" to some extent!
Even, we all, the human beings used to find-fault with the great personalities like Buddha and Jesus!
It is the way of our mind and its Egoful nature!
Considering oneself the highly intellectual, and other the idiotic muff, is an indirect way to bragging about the self only!
But, it is a serious disease indeed to be conquerred soon in you! Or otherwise, you can never go hand in hand with any one as your beloved and finally you will be the loser in your life!
ESCAPE FROM YOUR TRICKY MIND!
THAT SAYS EVERY ONE THE IDIOT!
YOUR MIND ONLY
OFFERS YOU THE WRONG NOTION
&
"UPPER MOST CONTRIBUTION - ERROR"!

Only idiots make the fundamental attribution error.
Except for me, that is.
