a lot of people have the fear of success and they sabotage themselves. And education and support is the answer.
So it is the same with the fear of flying, bridges, snakes, etc. in that if a person really wants to change their phobia/fear there is help out there for them. As I understand it people first find out when the fear began, then they confront it (at their own pace) by explanation, education, support and then motivation to conquer what usually turns out to be just a bad habit.

You’ll probably always be a bit nervous when pitching. Feel the fear and do it anyway. A little anxiety can actually help you perform better. Sometimes you can be your own worst enemy -- especially when it comes to progressing in your career. Most people fear certain things, such as a change in their role or facing rejection when vying for a promotion, which can affect their ability to move up. Think fears might be holding back your career? There are common worries that can hurt your career and how to move past them: Applying job and rejection is common and why one should fear if he/she is confident himself. As told by spot if you are gorgeous and beautiful chance are very less, It's perfectly normal to be nervous or a little anxious when seeking a job. Especially if you've never gone through the process. Rejection while applying for jobs isn't that bad. The worst that can happen is for them to say "Sorry, we don't have any positions available at the moment, but you can fill out an application and we'll keep it on file".

i have phobias about glass floors, bridges (but only the pedestrian type bridges, big road bridges when i'm in a car or truck don't bother me as much for some reason!) heights, squishy food (mushrooms, bananas, tomatoes) and stairs where there are gaps between the steps...
i cope by avoiding all these, and it seems to be going pretty well! if there's a situation where i HAVE to walk across a glass floor or bridge, i breathe deeply and slowly and just do it. i've only had one panic attack since i was 15 whilst walking over a bridge, and a few weeks ago i made it halfway across the golden gate in san francisco! i started feeling wobbly and sick but i made it halfway!
i don't like spiders but that's not really a phobia, it's just because i once saw a close up picture of one and then found out we swallow around 9 spiders in our sleep during our lifetime! that kinda put me off them!

I have a fear of:
heights;
enclosed spaces;
being buried alive;
dying an agonising death;
snakes and spiders
flying (though I do fly)
being on an ocean liner
Omg! There's so many ha!
The only phobia I have coped with is, flying. When on a plane, I have to talk myself into being calm and then take my mind elsewhere.

I am terrified of birds, of any kind, close to me. While I love to watch them from a distance or behind closed doors. I was attacked by a chicken at a young age. YES, I watched the movie The Birds but that has nothing to with my fear! I have tried to over come this fear to no avail. If I am in the house and a bird comes I'm out of here!! A bird had gotten into my enclosed front porch a couple weeks ago, it came in through the dog door. My son-in -law and Granddaughter had come over about the time of my discovery. I let her in and locked him outside until he got the bird off the porch!! I just freak out and can't help it. I think birds are beautiful and don't want to hurt them but keep them away from me! I walked into an aviary one time before I knew what it was and left there in a hurry. Sorry about knocking my old man down but if I'm scared get out of my way!!!!!!

I am afraid of chickens. It sound funny but I get very nervous around them. Watching the movie "the whole ten yards" Kind of helped because he just loved those chickens. But I just try to stay away from them altogether. I am also claustrophobic. I can't even have my arms held down or I just freak out. I was able to go into some caves by having someone talk me through it and deep breathing.

terrified of flying...i used to fly everwhere and i just got phobic about it and every time i tried to conquer it it just got worse...its a claustrophobia thing though for me as well as the thought of how unnatural it is....i flew this summer for the first time in 6 years and it wasnt too bad...i have been places but usually id rather go by rail,boat,anything bar flying...
i know something about myself though and that is that if i really wanted to do something i would fly to achieve it...proving that your hearts desire is greater than fear...;0)

i have a particular fear of gossips, and pretend friends. while it may not be seen as a real phobia, it is real to me. i deal with it by trusting my instinks with people and never ever taking anyone elses belief that some one can be trusted.
