Why people can't keep a secret and crave to tell it to somebody, to
confide in somebody, even if this will do them harm? Even the Midas' barber did.
Is there a scientific name for such a desire? To share knowledge of something with somebody? Of any: affair, murder, theft, just a gossip, or anything about oneself (just to tell anybody something about one's life).

Can anyone tell me why is it that you work so hard to get over a panic disorder only for the panic attacks to start all over again out of the blue? I developed a panic disorder when I was 20 years old. I was having anxiety attacks constantly; over everything. I worked really hard and managed to live a somewhat normal existence after about three years ( having an attack Only about every six months or so) and stayed that way until very recently. I am 35 now and I've started the attacks daily again over simple things: like driving three miles to work or when the wind blows or for no reason what so ever. Should I go back on the meds that I have done without for five years. I know I am rambling, but I am so tired inside of not being able to control this fear of fear that I have going on.

This is where I live as a tenant and I still have 6 months to end my lease. I stay with a family with a doting mother and a really spoilt 12-yr old boy. He often beats his younger sister, neighbouring kids (he doesn't have any playmates) and at school - he often, gets recalled for abusive behaviour.

He doesn't cause me any physical harm because I am much older (21) and stronger than him - but I can't smack him either when he locks me up in the bathroom or puts chewing gum in my hair or ravages my limited cosmetics - I am only a student and can't afford the nuisance.

His mother NEVER reprimandes him and he knows how to use his mother (His father has been divorced) - where is it going to stop?

This week - he attempted to suffocate his sister (7-yr old) with a pillow until I came in. I had advised his mother to take him to counselling or psychiatrist but she wouldn't budge and always defend her son - (she

I dreamed that I was trying to get to some weird city in a game called world of warcraft that I haven't played for like three months, I was supposed to go east so I did and I walked into a mansion, after an hour walking around I walked into a chinese military base and was escorted to meet with the General. I escaped and some hot chick saved me, and as we were running for an exit she started screaming 'I HEAR SOMEONE BUT ITS NOT CLAY!!!' and then some gorilla shaped thing appeared in a doorway and its eye glowed green. And thats all... so what's it mean? :P

This is weird and quite scary, monday night i had a dream one of my colleagues had a car crash and was seriously injured, yesterday i cam into work and he was not in, later that morning we got a call that his family had been in a car crash in which his little boy died and his wife and daughter were in a bad way. what does this mean and is it just coincidence because there have been other similar occassions?

Debate with a colleague on this one - we were talking about the Halo Effect, whereby a positive perception of one thing influences people's perceptions about a wider range of attributes.
But is there a term for the negative equivalent, where one bad thing makes people generally perceive negative things about the wider picture e.g. someone is perceived at being bad at their job overall because they are bad at one aspect of it, even though they might ACTUALLY be pretty good at the other tasks
