It all depends on the games, as some are bad, and others are alright. You are always hearing of children killing themselves, because they were trying to fly like superman, and they play fighting games with daddy's guns. But i feel that some time's its the parents to blame when these things happen, they need to supervise their children more. Some games are alright though, they can be fun and educating.
But children playing too many games can cause problems with education, as they don't have time to learn and they get too into games that they forget about school!

It depends on what games they play.....my son doesn't play video games except other kids play them, and then it is only Pac Man world.
Games that distort a child's sense of reality would, in my opinion, be harmful. I have heard of Grand Theft Auto, and I would not buy that for my son, even if he were to ask for it. Desensitizing your children to this type of behavior might affect how they think or act later on.....I'm not a pro, so I'm not sure, but I would say what goes in, has to come out.....somehow, at some age, and in some way, sorry to say.

i think games like tag, hide and go seek, and other outdoor games are excellent. i think they are so much more fun, that feel good rush u get after running around is so much more healthy for kids instead of sitting in front of tv in a zone. in the summer time or during warm weather i send my son to play in the backyard. during the winters he has no choice but to play indoors. when i move to a warmer climate, i plan on sending him outside more often.

That depends on who you ask. To me, everything has its place and time. Elements of life can and do become destructive when too much time or importance is given to anything, including games.

Depends on what kind of games they play. Extended use of video games could effect their eye sight.

My Brother (a Child) does not concentrate in his lessons anymore... He doesn't remember anything you tell him, he always seems out of focus.
