Serious question. Why?

It seems there are more people than not who are suicidally clueless about whats going on around them, in both the direct personal ways, and on a greater level.

I don't get it. Some of the things people say and believe are so asanine that it boggles the mind. People believe things of which there is absolutly no tangible evidence, and others believe things that any rational, logical person would laugh (or shudder) at.

Is the general intelligence of humanity declining as fast as it appears, or are peoples actions the result of excessive gratification?

Thoughts?

is there any hope for it?

ever since 6th grade i've had severe social anxiety. in 4 years i made a total of 2 friends. because im so afraid. i dont talk, i'm always socially isolated. my armpits used to sweat all down my sides making hugee sweat marks throughout the day (i use prescription deoderant now drysol), when im walking or something it makes me really tense because of all the people around me, in class i try to avoid people to look at me.

i try speaking up and try multiple times but the words can just never come out. i cant even count the number of times i just wanted to ask the girl or guy next to me a question a simple question like "whens our test again?" but the words just cant come out i feel a tightened feeling throughout my body&get hot flashes when i try.

when i try talking usually the words come out all screwed up i get so nervous and i have to start over with what i'm trying to say, it makes me even more anxious because i look like an idiot when that happens.

i never thought it was social anxiety because the only cases i hears about it were wayyyy extreme.

i just want to make a couple friends, that's all i ever wanted. i'm always unheard and not understood. people think i'm a stuck up ***** because i dont talk, but i really truly want to. i want to be included for oncee not stuck all alone in the corner by myself being the shy girl who never says a word. the one time i said something in my science lab group someone even commented "whoa, you talk?"

i JUST told my psychologist about my social problems so she set me up an appointment with a psychiatrist wednesday. which means i'm going on meds. do the meds actually help? is there any hope for me, ever?

although i find it completely halarious i also find it harrowing for these guys. I find that if we don't take it seriously what tourettes sufferers are saying it makes the whole situation for them better. People have become too P.C. correct. P.C. is what makes the whole situation worse for sufferers.

It’s just for whatever reason I feel I can never make love until I’m married to someone special. Don’t ask me why but that’s how I think, and it’s the reason why I’m still a virgin, and before you say it no I am not religious. But everyone else I know feels very comfortable in doing it with anyone. So why am I weird in wanting to wait till marriage to make love to someone special. When everyone I know feels so comfortable about when they are horny they can do it with anyone they want.

Fashion is the single biggest farce in the history of planet earth. It is based entirely and solely upon people's desire to conform and "fit in." Anyone who pays attention to fashion, or worse, dedicates part or all of their lives to it, are just mindless sheep who do not have the desire or the mental capacity to think for themselves.

Do you agree?
If not, how am I wrong?

2 years ago, I read an article about how a very tiny percentage of the people of the world could remember their dreams. Around that week, i stopped remembering my dreams. I could remember them before i had read that article.

When we think of things we make the reality concrete than it is. And that why we become stuck we become come stuck of the sameness of reality. If reality is concrete then I am insignificant, but if reality is my possibility then reality is the possibility of my conciseness then I will be able to decide how I observe reality.

This seems far fetch but our brain can't tell the different between reality and what it remembers. Physics also had proven that by observing we can affect matter like the double slit experiment.

I am trying to get to know more about Answers. My biggest question is how old are most of the people who are asking and answering questions through the weekdays when the kids and teens are in school? The difference in activity is obviously due to children and teens on weekends. But how old are all of the rest that
enjoy Answers on weekdays? I can't get an idea of their ages. And does it depend on the categories? I don't know so please tell me because I seriously want to know before I get too involved and invest more time. There is more to be had here than just wasting time. But before I spend anymore of MY time here, I want to know the average age of the weekday people. No jokes please. I don't need the confusion. Thanks.
