I used to be really fat... when I looked happy... I was. Being slim isn't the only satisfaction in life. I know several really fit people who have the mental attitudes and outlooks that rival the devil's for nastiness and despair. Even when I felt really unhappy with my physical self, I was not about to complain about it... there are too many people in this world who think it's okay to pick on fat people. Maybe it was wrong of me, but I was not going to let a person with fat-prejudices realize that their opinion had the power to hurt me.

Honestly?? fat people don't care anymore!! if they don't seem sad and depressed then people are less likely to pick on them, so they stop caring what people think and are loving themselves as they are. in the words of a great song
"I can see the fingerprints of god

And youre covered with the fingerprints of god" and they know that they are covered with the fingerprints of god! that god made them and they are special and loved by him no matter what. cause god don't make no mistakes.

When a personality is more accepting and passive, more easy-going and less nervous, the body is under less stress. This kind of personality will gain weight more easily. Also, this kind of personality will want peace at all costs and swallow a lot rather than get it out in confrontation. Sometimes food is the only recourse.

Because they are happy with who they are, life for them is what they want. Plus they eat whatever they want Chocolate, pies, cake Yummmmm

I think a lot of them are fronting. ....
They need love, and community support to help them fight off their demons....I know some heavy people who are creative and intelligent who get harrassed by a culture that sees them as undesireable....
