2 years ago, I read an article about how a very tiny percentage of the people of the world could remember their dreams. Around that week, i stopped remembering my dreams. I could remember them before i had read that article.

i don't think it's related to the article. they say to write your dreams down as soon as you wake up,so they're still fresh in your mind.

Some people can remember and some can't. It depends on whether the dreams were during REM sleep. If you want to remember your dreams set your alarm clock for four am and have a note pad next to your bed. This usually works. When I was in college our professor taught us this because we had to keep a dream journal and some of us didn't think we dreamed. We do dream, some of us just don't remember. Try the alarm clock thing.

I don't know if this will work for you, but it did for me.
Before I go to sleep I tell myself I'm gonna remember my dreams and since I have done this I have been remembering. I read about it in some article and decided to try it.

A biological explanation is that you may become psychotic if you cannot distinguish your dreams from reality. People who are deprived a one sleep phase, such a REM, when allowed to sleep again will make up the missing sleep phase so we conclude that each phase of sleep is needed.

You will need to train yourself to remember your dreams. Start wanting to remember them before bed time. You will need to write them down because they evaporate like dew in the morning sun. Keep a note pad next to your bed. It may be are are still rembering them, but for a short time.

2) have you been under stress??? stress could prevent peaceful thoughts

3) dont worry...thinking about it can make things worse...paranoia does weird things to the human brain

4)maybe the dreams you have been having these past 2 years werent as important for your brain to remember as the ones before

I've had the same problem. We talked about this in Psychology last semester and they say to write them down as soon as you wake up. It seems like after you read the article, in your mind you are doubting yourself you won't remember. Try to turn that around.

Because dreams aren't important. You don't remember things your brain redeems unimportant. Sounds like coincidence.
