In a hypothetical world:

Women: you're brutally raped and find out when you miss your next period that you're pregnant. You are deeply commited to your current partner, and s/he does not want to keep the baby. What do you do? Do you abort? Adopt? Keep the child?

Men: Your partner has been brutally raped. She comes to you after about a month to tell you that she's pregnant, and there is a strong chance it's the baby of her rapist. How do you support her?What would you do if she carried the child to term? How would you love a child if you knew the father could be a rapist? Would you demand abortion?

The key to this question: Only women can make the call to abort as men do not have to go through the trauma of rape and the birthing process. You MUST answer as your gender and your gender only.

Assume that the Day After pill was not used in this case, due to reasons not to be mentioned here.

I had a dream in which I was in a really old, rundown house, that is full of clutter and mess. In this house there is this man who is always working (as in working from home). And I know he's a ghost, and he know's he's a ghost.
In the beginning of the dream I'm angry with him, and he seems mildly annoyed by me. I went on a walk outside the house and was shooting the house with a crossbow, and then saw him sitting at a desk through the window, and shot him in the arm. He then pulled the arrow out of his arm and gave me a look like "what was that for? You knew it wouldn't hurt me" and I went back inside.
To make a long story short, we fell in love, and I began cleaning the old house while he worked (I should mention that I'm homopsexual, so it's not odd for me to fall in love with a man in my dreams).
Anyway, throughout the whole dream, though it spanned several days, it was constantly nighttime. At the end of the dream, just as I was waking up the sun started to rise.
What's it mean?

There is so much amazing information and literature available, how is it that a great many people do not read, and instead prefer to watch television or go to bars? I am trying to understand the mindset. If I sound condescending, I am sorry; that is not my intent. I would love to hear perspectives from people who do not read for pleasure.

I can't understand why i'm feeling so depressed lately.5 weeks ago,everything was flowing smoothly,ans then my grandfather passed away.I wasn't so much sad,as i was overwhelmed at that time,and have gotten over it,but it seems that lately i've just had a pattern of overanxious negative thinking(about other things) no matter what i do,or what activity i engage in.I'm almost having to become an insomniac and tire myself out to the point where i'm too tired to think.Could i just be going through some up's and down's right now?Are these normal patterns to be going through?I don't understan how i could be feeling so perfect a month ago,and so lousy lately.Almost like a 360 degree turn.It seemed that that event along with other things threw my thinking off kilter completely.

What can I do so that I don't feel sad, I've been depressed because I'm 25 years old, I don't have a job and I haven't saved any money, I'm away from that special person I love because of an immigration situation, and the US does not recognize same sex relationships, and we can't live together, I'm so in love with him and I can't think the solution is to find somebody else. I might laugh at jokes, or be happy in my everyday life right now, but, I can't stop thinking about all of these and I get depressed, and I just feel like I want to cry, I don't know what to do, I feel sad. im very smart with academics and anything mental......but i so suck at hands on tasks.. my groupmates dont really trust me during lab because they recognize im not good at the tasks..how can i improve at being good with hands on job?! i never dared to apply at part time jobs bcoz i know it will be a struggle!

I hate that feeling so much. I am definately smart enough, bright enough, and have PLENTY of time to study and do my homework and get good grades if not perfect grades, but I dont. I just don't know whats wrong with me. And when I sit down to do my homework I can't focus on it for more than 2 minutes. Its annoying, I want to do it but I cant. No idea what it is, please help. I got into a tricky situation. I applied to adopt a child internationally and hav ewaited 4 years to find out the Brazil is at a standstill on this...no children right now.A friend of mine is Indian and has a wfe and a daughter 2 years old. The daughter is very light skinned and cute. In India to adopt a child you must have a partner who is Indian or they don't give you a child. My friend offered to go with me to a Surrogate and have a child that I will adopt ,part his because he will be the biological Father and the egg donor will be an Indian woman. I like the idea,but we need to be in a relationship to adopt or they won't give me the child as the "mother'. Being that he has a wife I told him he needs to be "separated " to help me out from his wife. His says "don't worry" everything will work out. I could pay for the surrogate and him being the Father and all ..I could lose the child later . I need to protect myself someohow. I like the idea and feel positive about it.

I was cutting my left palm's flesh, I ate the flesh (ewww). My palm was still intact after that, with the skin still perfectly on like nothing happened, but the blood left before was there. And I dreamt I laid my head on the palm and felt the depression on the palm where I had cut the flesh. The blood from before dried to drust and peeled off from my hand to become very deep red, maroon rose petals. I know it's yucky, but, any help here? Comments on the dream if you prefer ^^ I'd like that!

i find every class easy im in ap's and all i have to do is listen or read and i'll memorize everything, but then when it comes to my home work i just stop functioning i feel like its a waste of time every homework seems like its asking me whats 2+2 or its just useless i could tell the teacher exaxtky what she wants to hear but i can't get my idea's on paper

and i dont have add or any of that other b.s

i just feel like school is a waste of time....sure i learn something new that i'd have never known without going to school, but i feel like this world is so matrialized and the people in it are searching for happiness in the wrong places..(such as money)...but i feel like there should be more that our society should value more then school education.

and weather or not you've finished collage,
i've dreamt of dreams where i have my nessisary tools
and just have my nessisary things such as a shelter
and not only me but all of the peolple in the world.

i know this sounds emo :(

Ok, so the night before thanksgiving i had this strange dream. Me and my mom were in this dark cave and then we see this other guy. My mom starts to talk to him and then when she turns around there is this clown and it eats some of her fingers and she screams and i hit the clown and it dies. The next day my mom tells me for the rest of her life that she has to have dispoable fingers because she doesn't want to reattach her other fingers because they would look weird.
The weird thing is, at breakfast the morning after that dream, my mom tells me my cousin got some of his fingers cut off when he put his hand in a leaf blower, don't ask why he did,...does this mean anything?
