Wilhem Wundt, of Germany, is actually the father of modern psychology. Freud is the father of psychanalisys. Freud is now moslty believed to be a fraud.

Sigmund Freud is supposed to be.
Though I find it a bit strange that so many Psychologists discount his theories & say he was a mummys boy, had a sex fetish, etc.
His studies were done 150 years ago. Other great works done by other people were done 100 years ago. None of there work is relevant to Western Society as it is lived in todays world. Any work done today is a rehash of older irrelevant works.
Values that were held most sacred in the 1850 are completely different to values in 2006.
I think the only real modern Behavioural Studies are conducted at the moment are from Reality TV such as Survivor & Big Brother. A almost free source subjects from all around the world.

that is a court decision on this: i would say that no matter who is the father of psychology there has to be a woman to make him crawl or the game would be over.
