I was cutting my left palm's flesh, I ate the flesh (ewww). My palm was still intact after that, with the skin still perfectly on like nothing happened, but the blood left before was there. And I dreamt I laid my head on the palm and felt the depression on the palm where I had cut the flesh. The blood from before dried to drust and peeled off from my hand to become very deep red, maroon rose petals. I know it's yucky, but, any help here? Comments on the dream if you prefer ^^ I'd like that!

Cherant,

Thanks for your comments regarding my interpretation of your other dream. You definitely have some vivid dreams. Unfortunately, there does seem to be a recurrent theme of pain & torture (atleast in the 2 dreams I have read). Generally, pain & torture and good vs. evil symbolism in dreams does point to some sort of abuse in your past. There is a possibility that you experienced some sort of physical or sexual abuse, and you have repressed it and it is now manifesting itself in your dreams. The fact that you are having this vivid dreams AND remembering them would seemingly indicate that you are ready to deal with this information on a conscious level.

I would recommend that you seek out some therapy. You can start by discussing the dreams in your sessions. In these matters, I think a Clinical Psychologist is better equipped to interpret dreams and diagnose than is a counselor. Good luck to you.

p.s. I just read in one of your other posts that you are only 17. So, perhaps you don't have the money to pay for therapy services (especially with a Clinical Psych). Perhaps you can start by talking to a counselor at school. Have you tried this?

The cutting of your own flesh is self punishment. You eating the flesh symbolizes a great pain or torment you are going through that causes you to do that. Your palm was still intact afterwards showing that the wounds healed over, however the depression that was still there means that you will carry a scar (memories) of what has happened. When the blood peeled off and turned into rose petals it symbolizes renewal and growth, but also something more. The deep red rose petals symbolize passion and feeling. It may mean you will receive a new gift or talent...Do you write poetry? And no, the dream is not yucky...It was strange in order to call your attention to it.

You've got a pretty neat dream...

Cutting your flesh could mean that you're trying to remove something from your life. It may be a habit, affections towards a person, or attachment to a material thing. You did not specify whether the wound was painful or not. Ingesting your flesh may mean that you simply cannot let go, the same reason why the flesh on your palm becomes as it was before. About the petals, it depends if you think the petals are beautiful or not. If you do, then it means that the change in your life is for the best. If not, then the opposite.

Hope I was able to help...

The left side of the body can represent mother energy and the hand represents present time, what can be manipulated in life here and now. Eating it may represent you are making your integrating your mothers energy into yourself, making it your own. The fact that your hand was fine, may represent that even though you make your mothers energy yours, you still have a healthy relationship with your mother.

Blood represents your true essence, your connection with vitality and life. With your blood becoming rose petals, your connection to the vitality in your life is growing stronger. This also goes well with the symbolism of you integrating your mothers energy.

The dream may have been disturbing, but a deeper understanding of the symbolism gives a much more positive interpretation.

Sometimes dreams have no meaning. Perhaps your palm was itchy and you went off the deep end!

You can sacrifice the hand that feeds you, will the wounds of that sacrifice heel or will you always feel them know they are there. What everyone sees of that sacrifice can be turned into something beautiful
